  1. I will save you some time and money. Forget the active setup, what you are trying to achieve is not sound quality and there is no reason to go active. Find a nice pair of components and install them. I have had great results with these budget component sets: http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/auto-kits/hi-vi-fr600-6-2-way-autosound-system/ http://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/car-speaker-kits/zaph%7Caudio-za5-autosound-2-way-pair/ but really you should listen to a set of component speakers before you purchase them.
  2. A few updates: car was repainted the factory color and suspension work is done. After paint: After suspension work, the h&r springs claim a 1.3" drop from factory. I can definitely tell the front is lower, the rear end is slightly higher than before because it was sagging when I bought the car. It is an amazing difference. Feels like a Benz again.
  3. Yeah, thats nasty. It will work but would not be up to my standards. Whoever recieved it should have refused it.
  4. Check the tracking number, most likely the label was created for shipping. It does not mean it has been shipped.

Videos never work on mobile. Nothing you did Neal. Looking good, are you going to do any HT testing with the evil?
  6. Keeping the stock headunit? Ditch the audiocontrol units and pick a minidsp.
  7. Probably the only woofer that can take that much power is the most rarest, deadliest, and badassed woofer of all time. Dun dun dun...Le Funky Pup
  8. I only mentioned it is a Chinese product because you referred to it as an American product in your first post. When you order from SSA they send your order information to Sundown. Depending on how busy sundown is, it make take a few days to get tracking info. I would say the SA-12 can handle more power in the right install. I would need to know more about yours. Box specs? Subsonic filter? How did you set your gain?
  9. First of all the Sundown SA-12 is a Chinese made woofer. Sundown should be shipping your subwoofer out to you soon. Sometimes the system is behind and does not update right away. Where did you send a message? The best way to get ahold of SSA is [email protected]
  10. Yeah who the hell names one of their products that?
  11. So why did you start this thread again? Why did you want people to give you advice? I don't know if it's just me, but I only see advice AGAINST the stetsom. See you in 3 weeks asking where the amp is, and 2 months later you ask us why it doesn't sound as loud or why it went up in smoke.. Just wanted to have some input. I've been doing some digging around also. In the end I decided to try it out and see for myself. Is that ok with you?Nope
  12. If you know who Sean Belanger is then you would understand why it looks like a Sundown product.
  13. This , I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
  14. Great tune! its missing "bangarang"
  15. Until you fix your electrical problems, you should not be buying new woofers.

    How much for one?
  17. Is the jump in price worth it, though? I don't think so. The sundown's are amazing amps at their price point. The crescendo's are good, too. Go with the whatevers the cheapest and use that money toward something else Better mids, more deadening, processing, etc etc. I also wouldn't rule out the PPI p900.4 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38338_Precision-Power-PPI-P900.4.html It is easily worth the extra cost because of the build quality and crossover options.
  18. Find a used Zed then. It is superior to the other two.
  19. The size I listed was found in the sundown technical section on this forum. Hopefully Jacob will jump in here and let you know.
