A lot of amps are not fan cooled. That's what the heatsink is for. 14.4v X 70amps= 1008w. Yes stick with that amp.

wow thats really low. he needs to be closer to 2 for sure, hes doing 9 of them so after all said and done he needs to be close to a half ohm at the end..... and that just wont cut it. 1.3 1.4 I had someone else measure a 12" D2 and they came up with 1.6-1.7. I double checked with another meter and came up with 1.6-1.7. I must need to get the other meter recalibrated. Sorry for the misinformation.

I have used both. Not in comparison tests but in a few installs. They both can take power well but the GCON has a 3" coil compared to the SAs 2.5" coil. The gcon also has a small Xmax advantage.
