I don't know about orlando but on this coast with sinkholes being a reality you won't find many pools deepr than 6' unless they had the land or pool, built up. Which I can't afford to build or insure. Insurance is the biggest thing. Deep pools with boards add hella premiums to an already very high LForida home insurance rates. I didn't mean that deep pools were'nt possible, but they are reserved for thpse with a lot of money as it becomes very costly to stray from a standard setup in both construction and insurance.

Thats what I love about Florida. We don't close pool In fact I don't even have to take care of this one. It has a robotic vacuum, and it has an outo-chlorinator and ozone generator, that makes chlorine from salt as needed. It's a true lazy mans pool.

Thankee A dayton 1000 watt plate amp mounted into the wall. RF HEs You'd be right on the drivers. We just moved into this home in January and just got the pool finally done 3 weeks ago. Give my wife time to figure out what she wants to do. The house needs color on the walls too. We only did one room so far(common bathroom), because she can't make up her damn mind yet. The next room to get painted and finioshed will be the game room. I am going tiki with it and just got the bar in and no exactly how I want it

:gayfight2: Doubtful. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> SHHHHHH, I'm trying to keep the closet door shut just a little longer. We looked at black bottoms and didn't like them. The wife gets what the wife wants . You also can't get a 9 ft deep pool in FL, even if we could you have to have 13 feet for a diving board of any kind now, so whats the point? 14' X 28' We didn't want an enormous pool. Just something to get wet in and string a net across for water volleyball. This is a game pool. It has shallows on both ends and 5.5' in middle. We needed more patio space for entertaining, grilling, and the hot tub.

I figired I would share this with those that don't go to CA. The first of many pictures to come. This is delivery day. Look at all those pretty woofs in a row. Looks intimidating already. OK, here comes the head scratchin. I originally just thought I would do a 2stage manifold, but I also have enough room to do a line array above and across the screen area. I know there isn't a definitve answer on this, but is either application a safer bet generally speaking than the other? Is one design more susceptible to cancellation issues? Here is my room. Floor plan Sketch of proposed Line array Sketch of manifold placement. (progress after deciding on narrow manifold with 4 drivers on each side.) Here is a picture of the beginning of the manifold. I hate stopping midwork to take progress pix, so you will have to bare with me on no play by play detailed log. I got the meat of the manifold pounded out. It is 72" x 16.5". Tomorrow I work on cutting out the speaker baffles and bracing the inside with dowels. Next weekend I move to the attic and start pounding out the install. As promised, I got the baffles cut and bracing put in. I will probably brace the outside with 2X4 framing once it is situated on the joists. So here is where I sit for now.
