  1. I've seen that problem with my friends unit when one of his 12volt wires weren't hooked up right. Can't remember if it was the battery or the ign. one though... I'd check those out. Good luck! Edit: i'm pretty sure it was the ignition wire that wasn't hooked up right.
  2. save more money for an amp. an audioque 1200d is only $249 and it's a great (cheap) match for the SSD save some more and i can promise it will pay off.
  3. loud enough for for you is most likely different to everyone out there's 'loud enough' loud enough for me, no. for you? only you know! just trying to help out
  4. Mann I've totally missed this whole build until now. Great work man, it looks freaking awesome!
  5. No problem man. the12volt.com has plenty of good calcs and a great place to learn it all!
  6. me too i want pics!

    no kidding man.
  8. Here's a rough design, someone could check to see if it's accurate.
  9. What would you like the tuning to be? Sub and port facing?
  10. this is true.^^ we all know bigger is better though
  11. Great deal!
  12. Thing about these subs is they're rated at 800rms, not 600rms, and with the options it's easily a couple hundred more rms tolerance than stock. Even the 1500 is cutting it close but i recommend it because it sounds like he's on a budget and it should power them well. Just saying
  13. How do you like those little terminal things?? They look pretty cool. Btw, looks great!
  14. Here SAZ-1500D This is your best bet if you're trying to save the cash and get more out of the subs. Seems like your budget is pretty tight.
  15. For one, 250rms to 300rms shouldn't be an audible difference AT ALL. Just set things correctly and don't get ridiculous. If you see/hear signs of the subs straining, turn it down a bit. No one wants brand new blown subs.
  16. Sure it is, but you won't get full power out of your subs. (btw, i think you posted in the wrong category)
  17. you should be hella happy with a larger, lower tuned box. i went from 3 cubes at 33hz to 4 cubes at 31hz, and boy does it make a difference!
  18. Thread closed! We talked him into preordering the Sundown E8v2's.
  19. Save up some more and get an Audioque 1200d. I believe it's one of the best in that price range and definitely does rated plus a little. I have one powering my 15 SSD and it's perfect. Welcome to SSA! And great choice of sub!
  20. yep that's perfect! i always resize to that size also Displays a lot faster than the monster-size ones and still has good detail!! exactly.
  21. yep that's perfect! i always resize to that size also
