I also need an HO alt but really don't know much about them either. Everything I read about the company's is about how bad their costumer service is and there is also so many different ones and variables it makes my head spin.

The head unit is great have had it for sometime now with no problems. Only complaint is cant find a Pioneer Ipod cord the length I need. Thanks for the heads up on the website gonna order the universal interface one so no more waiting at Bestbuy for them to keep reprogramming mine.

I have a 2005 Cadillac Escalade with Pioneer AVH-P4200 deck and need advice on the interface for the factory steering wheels controls. I purchased the ASWI-PS had Bestbuy install it and have had nothing but trouble with it. Can someone with some experience please recommend a different model? Thanks in advance

For the gex-fm903xm doesnt that just play from an fm module and have a screen that you change stations from? Have you ever hooked it up to a pioneer deck?

I have had many double dins and by far the avh-p4200 is my favorite. Easy to use good functions has everything I need and more. Not a fan of Kenwoods at all I think their double dins are junk.

Thanks 98GMC for the advice after reading your comment I had no idea what you meant by the font stage so I did some research and found out what you were talking about and sounds like a good idea Im going to get rid of all the equipment and spend the money on a nicer set of speakers and amp. Do you have any advice on an amp and set of 6.5 inch speakers around $600 to $700?
