  1. you can get low pass filters but im not shure that is what you want or if they go high enough to suit you. just try to turn the treble all the way down and if that is still not enough i dont know what to do.
  2. how low does it drop when it hits hard? if its much below 11-12 you need more current or less amp.
  3. daytons are usually a safe bet for bang for your buck.
  4. Wow this thread really took off. i noticed that the ax line isnt on ikesound anymore. that was fast.
  5. http://www.ikesound.com/category-category_id/858 I thought they couldnt sell ax line on the internet. is this a scam or am i missing something i noticed that they had re subs also. Very expensive too.
  6. what kind of vehicles are these in. that can have a huge affect on output.
  7. so far in my search for components i have listened to several sets and other than focal polyglass, the type-r was the best sounding to me. they are really warm and natural sounding.
  8. CRX is too tiny. I need room for 4 passengers sometimes. And need room for groceries/luggage in addition to the system. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thats why they are loud, they are small and have the gift of loud!
  9. Yeah i already decided to bump it up to the 8s because i have to tear up my doors anyway so i figure i should shove as much speaker in there as possible. do you have any experience with dayton ref. speakers?
  10. eleventy billion deebeezz jsut kiddin lol, anything in the high 140s with 1200watts would be an accomplishment.
  11. you should get a battery (like a D size) and hook it up to the speaker wire + to + and - to - and make sure both of your subs arent out of phase. that happened to me. when you put the battery on the speaker the speaker should move out slightly, if it moves in switch the wire on both of the subs.
  12. those power series amps are underrated, they should push your subs to the limit. they are probably designed to run them.
  13. I've got an 800a4 in my car right now. that amp is insane, it will bottom out my he2 off of just one channel if im not carfull with the gains.
  14. I've got one coming up saturday, that money could get me real close to that rl-p i am dying to have, oh well ive waited this long i guess i can wait some more. and thats what gf's are for

  16. this thread is making my mouth watter for my next system. i want my rl-ps soo bad. and that usamps md2 from flakko whould go very nicely with it.
  17. how much would you want for it after your "testing"
  18. Port them and bass with come. very nice score by the way.
  19. 7" dayton vs. 6.5" AA poly midbass i was reading some posts and it seems like many people have tried the AA and i was wondering if anybody has used both and could give a comparison. i am looking for something to run as dedicated midbass in a 3way frontstage. both would be run off a PPI DCX600.4 so 75watts to each side. the will be used with 4" focal polyglass comps.
  20. wow you guys really know how to make a guy feel welcome. i hope our time together can be joyous for all.
