Welcome to the IHoP
Comes par for the course as a moderator. I wonder what that would be like.... We'll see what happens, I suppose. Most are the same ones expecting to get a Sundown 1500D for $200. Well I wouldn't have to worry about that since I don't sell Sundown products.

I'd let it flap in the breeze, personally. I always forget to pop over there. Heck, I even forgot to pop over there when I was a moderator.

I slept way too much today and am, thus, rather restless.

I still enjoy a cigarette from time to time. I don't feel bad about it either because it's infrequent at best. Every now and then, I'll start a cigarette and get a puff or two into it, then decide it tastes like garbage and put it out.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME EXPLAIN
Clueless.....don't worry about it. I would buy a Sundown Audio amp well ahead of the new Orion stuff. Which one is he using that he says is so much better than the SAZ-3000D?

Jack Johnson "Sleep Through Static" album hissing
I hear it's a good album, but I was exhausted at the time and have been busy listening to other stuff. I'll check tonight and let you know.

I have a FLAC version I grabbed from Waffles (or What...one of the two) but I'll have to listen to it again. I listened to it last time just before bedtime and fell asleep in the first song.

If only more people had high standards for things. Yes, I will use that to complain about society.

So tired this morning....should not have stayed out so late last night. Oh well...I'll have a quick nap this morning and be ready to roll.

A late vote of support for ford302redneck on something he said... I believe it is plausible that whatever you believe is right actually is right. Though it's not always my personal practice, I think there's something to be said for the theory of relativism, and specifically truth relativism, ie. there is no absolute truth, only a "truth" relative to our frame of reference that is created by our history and past experiences.

It's the "equal and opposite reaction" one. Equal in magnitude, opposite in direction. But if you believe in God, you can easily make the argument that it is God who has created a "Newtonian balance."

anyone that actually thinks evolution isn't real is pretty much an ininformed tard. We can observe evolution again and again. What we can't do is prove that it's a form of creation. There are so many little details that points towards it it's scary, but there little details don't make up for the huge gaps. I myself do believe in god, though i believe in evolution as well. It's not nearly as difficult as most religious or scientific people make it sound. I don't believe in religion and i don't believe in the bible as other people do though. This is somewhat a touchy subject for alot of people. Im strong believer in God. Just how I was raised. Now, is evolution true? Why yes, I think so. But only to a certain extent cause of my religion beliefs. If you don't mind my asking....what caused or gave you your religious beliefs?

It came back? Someone should've given me the 411....I didn't expect it to ever come back.

I did an interesting drawing today. It's a single SDX7 in a horn that sums the rear wave and the front wave at the throat, with a single FR125S above. I haven't decided on how I will load the mouth of the horn, but the idea itself could make for quite an extreme two way. Might be workable with a horn, too, if you can push it down far enough, but we'll see about that. Tom Danley: thanks for the inspiration!

Woven tinsels on Havocs?
I doubt it. There are some detriments to the use of tinsels woven into the spider and Scott is aware of these...all indications have been that he doesn't like them much.

There is an article coming up in a future edition of Voice Coil magazine that basically says the tall profile surround sucks. And depending on who you ask, the patent for LMT has either never been applied for (no information can be found) or it was rejected (as there is already a patent for variable density voice coils from someone else). The basket is a different story, though.

Thought they were moving to a new location? I can only assume that was an attempt to be humourous because I laughed. They owe Mike a run or two. I am hearing some reports of the bankruptcy being official now. A couple people who are owed money have received notification from TC that they are declaring bankruptcy. And now Steve Mowry is leading a charge against their methodologies (LMT and their tall surrounds) and the legitimacy of their patents.

It sounds like, finally, the toilet is flushing on Thilo and Christa.
