  1. You could add a second alternator. The voltage is regulated so it wont double because you have 2 alternators. Contact DC power and see what they have for your vehicle.
  2. I'm not downing them but I say no because why would you want to waste your money? Just do something else beneficial to your build in the mean time until your sub comes.
  3. Then you must account for shipping.
  4. Well if your getting a 1200w amp then get the Q. Also since you said you like that kind of music I think the Q would keep up with the kick drum bass and fast bass beats in electronic songs. That is what I heard from reviews at least. Also, since you said you didnt want to take up your whole trunk, a ported 12 could be louder than a sealed 15.
  5. What kind of power will he be running?
  6. Save up and don't just buy another piece of shit. 95 honda was right, no such thing as underpowering. A good budget amp would be the audioque 1200d and it would be fine on that sub. 249$ shipped on audioque.com.
  7. Sorry, but a subwoofer has nothing to do with the electrical. That would be your amp. Subs don't cause clipping, lack of power to make power does.

His description says "box made to specs", that says basically nothing. Ask him what the internal volume is, ported or sealed, what is it tuned to. If he gives you BS then don't buy the box.
  9. Nick said once they are gone they will be taken off the website. So if they are up, then i guess they are there.
  10. makes me regret selling my dirt bike...
  11. If you plan on upgrading then get a big alt now instead of small alt now to get you by then big alt later.
  12. With all the batteries you'll be buying, that could add up to the price of a good alternator.
  13. I see what you mean. I mean, my car sits at night then I drive it in the day, unless I leave my car at home for a vacation then it won't sit longer than that. I took measurments of the battery holder and it seems a bit small for a group 31 but when it's light out ill go measure more precisely and see if I can. So what your saying is I should just be fine with the alt and the deka (if it fits). Thanks.
  14. Right now I have an saz-2500d and I am getting the electrical to power it sufficeintly. As for batteries, the one I have now is a perfectly fine battery, I do not know what kind of amperage its putting out but it is a stock carquest battery and rests at 12.5. Car on, I rest at 14.0-.1. I plan on doing... Excessive Amperage 200 amp Alternator Big 3 And a bettery for the rear (Possibly Deka intimidator 9A31) My question is on batteries... I don't want to spend a load of money on batteries so I'm wondering if a stock battery and 1 rear would be okay. Another thing is.. If my stock battery rests differently then my extra battery would that be okay, or what part would I need to fix that difference in voltage. I'm hoping that with the alternator and 1 Starter and 1 Extra battery and Big 3 I should be okay to power my saz-2500d without much voltage drop. Thanks in advance.
  15. I actually agree with bangin here, looks like his answer was looked over but, in your post you don't have the big 3 done. You can't run 270 amps from that alt if you only have stock wire. Do the big 3 in 1/0 Awg and then see if it helps or not.
  16. x2 DB-r.com has a 25% off sale until the 1st of january and the amps they have are all within your budget +/- 5$. All within the power you wanted as well. Sundown amps are very good amps at that. Sae-1200dv.2 Sae-1200dv.1 Sae-1000d Take those links.

x2 Christmas is a very hard holiday to work around and they are probably spending time with the family and such. You'll get taken care of soon.
  18. get a single din with a dash kit. I got a double din with a custom dash kit for my Mazda. it was like 30$.
  19. When should it be around for sale possibly?
  20. LOL it really isn't about what I want. Although if you get the X it will save you alot of money and keep you on budget. 15" X and that US Amps Xterminator I link'd. Bam. those 2 together will give me a good system? Yes, amp and sub wise, but with just those, have fun free-airing. You need a good custom built enclosure if you want the best out of your system. If you don't have the skill or tools, contact argent audio. Sealed or Ported? By the way, Andrew is right about crap getting stolen. It happens, you think it won't but it will. Go blaring your system everywhere "turning head's" trust me, it will get stolen. You never know what kind of people you are making turn their head. Could be someone who will be selling your system in a pawn shop the next week. Good Luck
