I'm going to build a box for a buddy of mine that has a 1988 Camaro Iroc-Z. It's not going to be in the wheel weld as of other boxes. But right behind the rear seats. In this picture where the amp is located, there will be an enclosure for them, and it won't cover up the whole trunk area. I am going to use dual 4" Areo ports, and I was wondering how long will they have to be to have a tuning of 32-32hz. I'm thinking 1.6-8 cubes in total for both subs, and the amp I am using is a Polk Audio 4channel 800 watt amp that will be bridged to run at 4 ohms. The aim is mostly for SPL since there is no true SQ. But he would like to be able to listen to a variety of music, such as: rock, rap, alternative, just about any random think you can think of. not really.. His system as of right now is running an Alpine CDA-9884 running Infinity 4x6 fronts, and pioneer 6x9, and will be removing the extra set of 6x9 running off the amp. Just a little help, if you can. Why don't you change a third variable like the box too and then further misapply what you are reading. Funny to compare a Q to a fart cannon as well. There will be a huge difference, but not sure if it is the type you are looking for. The speaker I mention was an idea since looking at others that carry around the same RMS rating is a wide range to choose from. As for the box I am glad I built one off a design from a man named fallen off another site that can work with 2k pretty good so all I would do is swap subs out and upgrade amp, hell the box is way better than the flea market stuff around here. It's just that I am a simple person much like most that come here and from most threads that have popped up in the last two weeks regardless of how redundant they are they "seem" to end off saying you won't notice anything from slight to moderate RMS output increases. I'm glad you have a ton of knowledge when it comes to this stuff but take time to put yourself in everyone else's shoes and think like them going off the numbers on the box regardless of how big of the hammer you swing in circles trying to get them to understand meters and what not. lol my fart box is at 4 cubes tuned to 33hrz 3 Things. 1) Proofread your post, I have no idea what you just said 2) Use the search function 3) Read some threads and use that information in your asking a question Always keeping people in check including me

pusstangs.. a few weeks ago, my friend was chilling at this meet with his stock ass, heavy weight 1988 Camaro, with a stock ass 350 small block, no upgrades or anything And there we atleast half a dozen stangs out there, all of which were tuned and cammed and asked to race.. his car was having issues, we lost big time

Haha it is just a simple thing I need to fix. It's an.. Foxconn Mirco-Atx board. It's good for what I'm using. The CPU bottlenecks after playing some games, and causes stuttering. Even when overclocked 25% more from 2.4ghz to 3.0ghz. My video card usage hasn't been past 70% so that's fine.

Well as the title states, I am in desperate need of a new CPU, my old-school "Pentium Dual-Core" Just wont cut it in today's CPU heavy applications. I have studdering games, thats how bad it is I am looking at two CPU's, oh and this is for a LGA 775 socket. I'm working this weekend and I will have around $250+-. I was looking at the Intel Q9505 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115060&cm_re=Lga_775-_-19-115-060-_-Product And the Intel Q8500 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115207 The Q9505 has a 50% more cache, and clock rate. But cost a little bit over 80$ more. As for the Q8500, it has a lower clockrate, about .3ghz difference. And has a 4MB Cache compared to 6MB. I just want to have this system for the next couple of years till i get out of college, haha. So I'm not looking to go and buy a whole new system, ex: 1156 socket, I7, AMD X6, and DDR. Putting up his post^? :facepalm: There's a hardly noticable difference, as other intelligent members have stated. That's your opinion, but they know the actual difference it makes. Judging by it, you're new to some of this, as am I.
