need info on OHM 's for Fi BTL . questions about future system. an
Second Skin replied to swagger_wagon468's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electricalthe roof ad floor aren't necesary, you will notice significant results from just doing the doors, and it is better to do al 4 of the doors if you can since the more area you cover, the better results you'll get. what most of our customers notice is that when they deaden part of their car, the noise where they deadened is more or less gone, but since it's gone the noises from other parts orthe car seem louder(they aren't, unless something else has changed in the car, but it just seems that way). either way, you don't have to do everything in one sitting. if you decide to do your project piece by piece, i recomed starting with the doors, then trunk/hatch, then floor, then roof. and yes you get better results using Damplifier Pro as a base and then applying Luxury Liner Pro on top of it. you see, there are two different types of noise; the airborne and the structure-borne. the Damplifier Pro takes care of the structure borne Noise while the Luxury Liner Pro covers the Airborne noise, and much like the different areas of your car, you don't have to do Damplifier Pro and Luxury Liner Pro at the same time, you can do the Damplifier Pro and then ad the Luxury Liner Pro later. How about a sale on Spectrum
Well then they should give me a hell of a deal and ill do a write up on the install to see how it really does. well i don't know what you've heard but we've gotten numerous people telling us how our spectrum product has greatly helped them. it's designed to be more of an undercoating to the Damplifier Pro or Damplifier, but it also works wonders by itself. as for a sale, i don't think we'll have anything until we've finished moving, which should be sometime this september(we're crossing our fingers), but i'll run the idea by Ken and see what he thinks. Second Skin replied to swagger_wagon468's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / ElectricalDeadener is quite easy to install. Like Watts09 said the main part is peal and stick, and then there are extra things you can do if you want. Dynamat is a good product, however, at Second Skin our intro level mat is designed to be just as good if not better than the Dynamat Extreme, Dynamat's top of the line sound deadening matt, and it's less costly too. check us out at www.secondskinaudio.com. the mat i was just refering to is "Damplifier" and if you want to get even more amazing results you can go with our "Damplifier Pro." either way you're getting amazing results at very competitive prices. go ahead and let me know either on the forum or by sending and email to [email protected]. i hope we can help you out! Get it While the Gettin's Good!
Pushing the product is only a small part of my job online. my main purpose here is to help people with their sound deadening questions, and to recomend what products will help them with their specific issues. naturally, i'm going to recomend Second Skin as a first choice, but like i said, pushing the products not the only thing i'm here to do. Neither the prices, products, or quality of the products has changed, and we try our best to help our customers with all of their sound deadening issues. AX

Audio Wrap
just so you know, adhesion has asolutely no direct benefit to sound deadening. so long as the product sticks to where it's been applied, more adhesive doesn't help you sound deaden your vehicle AX

Get it While the Gettin's Good!
i can honestly say i dont know. we recently aquired the business and as long as we've owned it we haven't had any in stock and they havent been available on the website. i have found pictures and information on them in the compute so all i can really tell you about them is what you already know. my best guess is that either they weren't selling very much and/or the Damplifier and Damplifier pro were better deals for the money.

the foil is the "constraint layer." basically, it holds the vibrations in the butyl and keeps them from becoming sound waves. even though it's thinner, it will still give you results very similar to Damplifier Pro

Hey Guys! Just wanted to let you know that we are starting to get low on our B-Stock Damplifier Pro, so if you have a project you've been putting off, and you wanted to get our cheaper B-Stock Damplifier Pro, sooner is definately better than later, because when it's gone, it's gone, and we wont be ordering any more. just giving you all a heads up!
