That's fine if you understand the effort required to do so

If you hadn't considered crossover design, can't build enclosures, and are choosing drivers because they look cool you are much better off buying something from CL.
  6. Neither But if you have to, the closer to 4k the better
  7. This. It's just not a good idea to use a sub outside of its intended purpose. You'll be much happier buying something that is better suited towards your goals

I would lean towards a two channel set up if the goal is mainly music. If you truly want a 5.1 this Hi-Vi B3S single driver system seems like a half way decent option. If you wanted to build towers this ZDT3.5 is worth looking into. Sub recommendations are going to depend on how much room you have to work with. In my opinion you're going to be much better off with a standard 4th order vented alignment rather than a bandpass.

It's Friday night. I've got no date, a two-liter bottle of Shasta, and my all-Rush mix tape
  11. Congratulations Peng
  12. In my opinion get the 1500 if you plan on upgrading sometime soon, but if you plan on sticking with the SA's the 1200 will be plenty and will save you some money. If you want the headroom that's fine just be smart about setting your gains to those subs. Good luck
  13. I can't say for sure because it varies from vehicle to vehicle, but there's a chance you will need some electrical upgrades to support a 1500w amp depending on how you set the gain and control the volume. Same can be said for the 1200, but it's something to think about.
  14. I've had the last two days off. I'm not looking forward to going back
  15. Coworkers would love that. My office is so damn quiet I get an IM asking if I'm ok if I cough a couple times.
  16. Boss. I need at least on hand to work the board. I wanted to bring in a dumbbell but that got the kabosh. Pshaw I doubt he/she would even notice lol
  17. Says who?
  18. There will be no audible difference between the two. The 1500 would give you a little more headroom though.
  19. Plastic or post?
  20. Bleh. The picture alone makes me sick.
  21. LOL I thought you did that on purpose.
  22. I agree with Bromo. I don't think it really fits your goals and just adding two isn't really a good solution. If you liked the sound of the HCCA and want more output the Flatlyne just doesn't seem to fit the bill to me.
  23. JTTCE? Journey To the Center of the Earth. Haven't seen that, but I see it on SF so I'll have to watch it.
  24. JTTCE?
