  1. So... We finally got the second Q!! Thanks again Nick for,the extras. Problem tho,... Before we even powered it up... I was mounting the sub, and... The drill slipped. it went all the way thru the surround. So what do you recommend to patch the hole in the surround? Thanks guys. When he gets home from skool tomorrow, ill post some pics of it. Also, would it be okay flr him to play it with the hole for tomorrow? Its just one day... But i figured ide ask. Thanka Jonathan.
  2. sweet! ill enter when i get home from work.
  3. Will you be competing, going to comps, events, shows, etc.? yes i will. it will be my first time competeing... so im still not all to familiar with the different sections of competeing. but i WILL be competing. just have to figure out which class.
  4. does the system have to be complete? for example, i will be doing 4 ssa zcons off of 4 saz3ks... but i will start after i get my new Daily Driver running. just wondering. maybe i missed it in the rules.
  5. Haha. I remember those days. And yea danny, pullapart is awesome!
  6. Its not practical when i have a wagon which will be a much better option for a wall. The coupe will be converted to a 5speed and a TRD supercharger eventually. But i will just do the5speed conversion and put the new engine and fix the (nesecarry fixes) then start the wall in the wagon.
  7. it will be replaced right after tires on the wagon.
  8. gotchya. well the top of the line Skull Candys arent bad. but if you decide you want Bose earbuds let me kno!
  9. earbuds or over the ear ? i have Bose earbuds i would sell and they are AWESOME!
  10. OP, now you know what us here at ssa think of caps.
  11. I see where you are coming from. But i took a big chance on the Hertz hsk165s being thst they are over $300... And im glad i did. Edit... (@ Sean)
  12. Or you could get a small audiopipe amp for only $80ish... you have $500 max to soend and almost half will be the amp... Buy a,cheaper one and out the money to use elsewhere in the system. My 2¢
  13. Sean... i dont know about the OP... But the only components around here that i can hear before i buy are alpine, kenwood, kicker, pioneer, etc... So i have never heard ID, Hertz(which i now have because i took someones opinion and am glad i did), rainbow, etc because Ll the shops around me only carry mainstream brands... I know its just opjnions on them by other people... But it helps narrowing the choice down a bit... It did for me anyways.
  14. vid of it running... i checked the oil after. its THICK... but full
  15. pics of the parts! wagon tails trim pieces Coupe center panels...
  16. ^ i just connected my batt to the coupe via jumper cables... and wow! never heard a worse sounding engine. vid later. pics uploading now
  17. Went to the local pick and pull and got a nice bit of parts. Got all the tail lights for the wagon. (mine are in ok condition. They have hairline cracks in them...but the ones i just got are PERFECT! And since the wagons are hard to find at pull-a-part, i would have, gotten them either way.) Got 2 rear center panels for the coupe. (got them from 92 camrys so the are black. I like them alot better.) Got a panel that goes on the rear inside of the roof un the wagon. (bass lossened the other one and it wont stay up) Got a coin holder. Didnt need it. But the latches always break so why not. and some other little trim pieces. All for less then $50!
  18. now i think i am going to use the coupe as my daily after its fixed. and wall the wagon. more room... opinions??
