Hey just curious, I ordered a Sundown SAX 1200D on here ( SSA Store ) on monday and previous to purchasing it I asked people estimated time it usually took to get to their house and most people said where I live it would probably take 3-4 business days to arrive at my house. Well I have been checking my order status a lot ( i am so excited to get it obviously ) but its been like 2 days and it still says "awaiting shipment" so I was just wondering if there was a reason or something because I was hoping to install it this week Thanks for help, Just making sure my order is fine lol.

Some people wanted me to post my big 3 pics... i didn't really do it all fancy looking because my car isn't fancy really so I just did it good enough that it will work with zero issues Voltage somewhat increased.. ( sometimes its like 13.. others its randomly like high 14's low 15's?.. I don't know why it isn't always this high.. why is it sometimes close to 12's and others like 15 randomly. Anyways.. Pics: The first two are the same wire just different angles. The next is negative battery to chassis and the ones at the end are the + battery to + alt run with the huge random blue wire lol. You can use the amp just keep the gains down and buy a voltmeter to watch the voltage on your amp, nobody says you have to use every watt on that amp when you hook it up. I do have a voltmeter upfront next to my steering wheel that i installed and I know i technically can use it.. its just I dont wanna risk hurting it so ill have the gain on like 1/8 lol and it will be quieter then my crap amp now just from me being cautious

Well I just did the big 3 this week and I have everything else stock ( alt, front battery ect. ) and my volts drop down low and Im only using a 1000w sony atm.. So I am trying to get a second battery since I have a Sundown sax 1200 on the way to my house this week arriving.. but then Im not sure if i have enough for the hc800. I was planning on getting the 800 but im super low on money with college payments.. so I thought about getting the 600 and then getting an 800 at christmas... so i was going to see if the 600 could hold me over until christmas because once christmas got here i would have stock batt plus hc600 + hc800, But i dont want to waste my money on the hc600 right now if it wont even be able to do squat to the sundown.. since ill be pushing around 800-1200rms. I could try and save up for the 800 and get it in like 4 weeks maybe.. its just I know i will want to use the sundown amp this week when it arrives and I cant without at least some sort of upgrade :/

Holy batman! You're going to have 7 of those beast's?!?!? I'm trying to decide between adding 1 kinetik hc600 or 1 hc800.. and your having 7 3100 xs btw my choice in battery brand is just because I have zero space to fit anything bigger then the ones listed.. anyone have a hc600 or hc800 by kinetik? I wanna know if they will even boost my system much at all if i'm running a sundown sax 1200d. ... I wish i could fit those sexy xs big daddy's in my car :trippy:

my box is sad... not covered or anything and i need to reinforce it probably before the new amp comes in this week because it shakes like crazy when bass hits. Like my box flexs. i cant add a layer of wood around to sturdy it up though because my trunk is full to its max width and length possible.

lol will do, but it looks crappy.. Lol i had to long of a power wire from alt to batt + but didn't have time to take it out, clip and redo the ring terminal.. so there is like a foot or 1/2 ft extra wire just like bunched up but i tried to zip tie it at least, and its only 4awg.. but its good enough for the current my system pushes. i shouldn't ever be doing over 150amps so the 4awg is good. I need to get pics up of my car/sub and box/wiring so people actually can picture everything I always talk about. And i'll post pics once I receive my GORGEOUS Sundown SAX 1200D hopefully this week Im so excited I just pee'd my bed.. My ears tingle already with my crappy 1000 sony amp that does like 500rms haha.. 1000-1200 will be like tearing my tiny car apart hopefully

Ok awesome thanks because the anl fuses that came with the holder i bought came with 150's lol..

Ok Just making sure, sense the side with 2 ports is called "outputs" I kinda wanted to make sure that the current can flow either way through the dist. block and it doesn't have some mechanism to make it only flow one way. And for all the smarties out there I wanna make sure if 150amp fuses is enough. up front is just a stock battery and then in the back im planning on getting the kinetik HC-800 and the amp is a sundown sax 1200d. I know the sax has 3 40amp fuses so I figure it pulls up to 120amps.. So i just want to make sure that 150amp fuses is enough for the current when running wire for battery's and the sundown 1200d. Ok so I am about to add a battery soon to my system and I was talking to a local audio place and he said an idea and wanted to make sure it would work without issue's. So When i run my wire back from my front battery I need to place a fuse close to that battery, Then everyone always says you should place another fuse right before the rear battery on the same power line. Then I wasn't for sure if you need another fuse between the rear battery and the amp also since its only like a 2-3ft wire of power?... But ok.. so he said instead of buying a fuse near my rear battery and a fuse between the amp and rear battery ( because this would = 3 total fuses ) He said on the rear battery I could just buy like a Fused Distribution block and have like ok There is one big input side and 2 outputs on the other side.. so He said if i wanted i could do the one big side connected to my rear battery and then on the side that has two outputs have one lead to the front battery and the other lead to my amp because both wires are fused seperately inside the dist. block. and this way the front batt is connected to the rear batt. and the amp is also connected to them .. and they have a fuse for both coming off the rear battery. He just said it would be cheaper to buy the one dist. block with 2 fuses then to buy 2 seperate fuse holders and fuses.. It seems like it would work but I wanna make sure. I am planning on ordering a sundown amp on the ssa store tomorrow and was just curious if there is Tax on items purchased on the SSA store? I know the item I want has free shipping so I was tryin to figure out if there is tax or if ill be paying $300 flat. ( I have to put money in my account from a diff. account and wanna know if i only need to transfer over the exact $300 or if there will be tax and should slip extra in the account too )

Ok there is this song I have heard a few times in people's demo vids on youtube and stuff.. and I can't find it now that im looking for it, just wondered if anyone would randomly know it lol.. Its some song that starts off sounding like.. cartoony or like a tv show or something childish idk i cant remember and then after a few seconds of that weird/silly intro it cuts into a like rap song or bass song kinda thing and sounds awesome.. I just thought it was awesome when i heard it and i like laughed out loud cuz at first I thought a guy was going to demo his system on a like funny weird song and then it randomly cut to a sweet rap song and beat, But i cannot find it anywhere im searching like crazy. So if you randomly know what im talking about or even if you just think you know post it up and ill search whatever song you say or video and listen and hopefully we find it. Good... because I'm planning on adding my second battery next week and I had planned on just grounding the battery to the chassis and I didn't get wire long enough to go all the way up front. Now, If you ground the rear battery to just the chassis, should you ground the amp to the chassis or to the negative of the rear battery? or will it even matter. I thought about grounding the battery to the chassis and then running the power and ground both from the amp to both terminals on the rear batt. cuz they would only be like super short runs as the amp will be right close to the battery.

Do you have to run a "negative" wire from the front battery to the rear battery? Or can you just run a "positive" from the front to the back battery and then just ground the back battery to the chassis of the car?..

Oh, yes I was meaning will this method work for that power amp also? I am planning on buying an amp like my link showed. I was just bringing up the combo amp while we were on the topic since I always wondered if it was possible. I guess the 1/4" would work for the amp head or plate amp?.. But how to you connect to the power amp's like the one's in the link? I didn't know if they have 1/4" outputs or something else.

Do I just get something like that like a 1/4" jack that goes off into a red and black cord. Like one side is 1/4" and other side is a black and red and Just run the Red into the + terminal on the sub and the black into the - terminal on the sub?...

Ok so next question then, I have a bass amp like a combo amp for my bass guitar but it is basically like a cab and head combined.. well it has a "speaker out" place where you can power another speaker/sub and it just use's the power from my combo to power it. Is there a way I can use that to power my sub?.. If so how do you connect it to the quarter inch jack?.. I assume the way you connect it will be the same either way if its the combo or the bass head but both use 1/4" so I was wondering how to do that to my sub if you can and thanks for the help!
