  1. Does that mean there is a different one you would pick than those sizes?
  2. I purchased a Sundwn 3000d last week and will be getting it in soon. I was just curious about what Size fuse I would need to run from rear battery to amp? 150a, 200a, or 250a? I currently have 150a fuses from my sundown 1200amp that I use to own. Now that I upgraded to the 3000d sundown, I wasn't sure what size fuse to run between this amp and rear batt.
  3. Big 3 first always! Then throw an xs poweror kinetik battery in the rear, also using 1/0 wiring to the rear batts from the front. Crescendo bc2000 would be the best bang for your buck. It took 4 days for me to get emailed back, so try giving them a call and leave a message. They will getback with you and its a great product. Oh also I loved my Fi SSD! They sound amazing. You would love the Fi subs.
  4. What's your setup? Amp/ subs/ electrical your running? Just curious
  5. O gosh! I have always wanted an xcon but just bought 4 SA 10's, Now I know what I'm upgrading to after the SA's though 4-10" xcons ftw !!
  6. Nice build so far tuned in.
  7. Ill use neon yellow for you next time... But ok this is a Build log so I don't wanna mess it up with dumb posts from me.
  8. Haha bro, I even put it in RED for you
  9. Thought I would update my build log! Yes, Sold the Fi SSD 18... Sold the Sundown Sax-1200d... Purchased (4) Sundown SA-10's... And Sundown SAZ-3000d Wha--Bam! POWER TIME!! I am like SOOOOOO Excited! Thought I would throw up a couple teaser pics just to get this build started up again for now! ( taken with iphone.. not great- Box build will be taken with my DSLR so look forward to those Rofl ) Got 3 in so far, 4th one is delayed and coming in on THURSDAY.. Also my 4 4" aero ports are coming in tomorrow!

Rofl. I was like.. for real? you have got to be kidding me lol. That made me laugh a lot though haha
  11. Alright sweet! I know every car is different I was just looking for experience with ppl that have these amps and if they have like 1 or 2 or 3 batts and how low their voltage drops and if they had stock or HO alts
  12. Is 1 run of 0 awg enough for a saz 3000? I don't really want to mess with an amp that requires 2 runs of 0 awg
  13. I used a dmm last time to try and set gains. I guess one thing I was wondering is if my electrical is capable of handling a saz 3k ( as in with what i have with the ability to add 1-2 kinetik 1400's to the rear if needed) because I dont want to buy it if I can't power it any and would then just get the 2k.
  14. Hey guys, I finally found 2 amps that I'm trying to choose between for my 4 SA-10s. I am either going to purchase a used saz 2000 or the saz 3000. I was wondering what kind of electrical is needed to run power one of these 2 beasts. I currently have a DC HO Alt that Is 110/170 idle/max and a kinetik 1400 under the hood with a kinetik 600 in the rear. ( I will also have 0 awg ran from front to back and 0 awg big 3 ). I'm not sure what is needed to keep voltage up with the 2k or 3k? Should this be enough? I'm not sure what most people have these on, I saw a few people say they had stock 90 amp Alts with just 2 large batts so I wasnt sure! Thanks guys!
  15. depending on the year and the model they could be simi decent. Not with him installing them and setting them up they wont be. gee thanks for your support lol Your welcome Wow that seemed pretty rude.. Haha.. Thought this was a friendly helpful environment.
  16. Welcome!!
  17. DO all the amps I listed put out their true rated RMS power? Is audioque actually a good company for amps? I didn't know if they were good quality or not and if they put out true, but they can be found at decent prices used! I have heard good things about them but didn't know if anyone had personal experience using one? Also the Saz-2000 is like pricy.. I never see them used and if I do it will most likely be $350-400. I assume the SAZ-2000 is good? It is not made anymore so I didnt know if that meant they had problems with that one or just replaced it with a new model like (2500)? ( SAZ-2500d would be legit as im sure its underrated and is really close to 3k but the 2000 is already like at the top of what I want to spend.. the 2500d is TOO much new by tons for me, I never see them used.. ) Is crescendo known to put out 2k rms at 13.8v? Are they quality and reliable amps? Should I save and buy a more powerful 3kw amp?
  18. I re-measured my car just now after work and came up with better results than before. It would be about 6.78ft^3 and about 6.3ft^3 after displacement! About (4) 4" ports.. if I leave them uncut at 17" ill be tuned around 33hz and can add or take away length 1-2" if needed in the future to change tuning! Definitely wiring to 1ohm they are 4 D2's

First, Is this vehicle one that you would like besides this situation? But if you like 92 explorers and think its legit, then do it because that is like pretty much God handing you 4k to make your dream system, while still having a vehicle in amazing condish. Sounds like a sweet deal to me. I think id scoop up on this deal and build your dream system + pocket 1.5k for savings while maintaining a Legit ride in mint condish
  20. Alright so I have 4 Sa-10s coming in the mail this week and will probably build my box next weekend.. So I need to find an amp SOON!!! I don't really know how much power to give the 4 SA-10s but the 3 amps that I have been looking at and looking for used/new are: SAZ-2000d Audioque 2200d Crescendo BC2000d I wanna do this right the first time and get a great amp from the start with this setup. Plus I figure these amps are linkable so in the future I could add a second to match and gain 2x power if needed down the road. Is 2k good for 4 SA-10s? or would 2.5-3k be a better match? Probably am looking at amps between $250-$400ish... obv these are all in the top half price range like 330-400++++ But I am also looking at them used. This is just what I have been looking at because they are all possible without breaking the bank.. But if there are other GREAT amps that put out TRUE RMS POWER please recommend one that you use/have used. ALSO if any of the ones I listed (SUCK!!!) then please let me know! I don't want to end up buying one and find out they have problems or arent doing rated. Does anyone know if any of these are good/
  21. Omg, my sub box i'm trying to design looks like a fart nugget now :L that is freakin sexy
  22. Or where do you get some 8" aeros? do they exist? if I calculated right, I could use (1) 8" port and it would have about the same port area as (2) 6" or (4) 4"
  23. Like if I put (2) 6" aeros towards the middle back of the box, Could I have them go in 17" that they are and add a curve to make 1 go left about 8" and one curve right about 8" to make about 25" length and get 33hz tuning
  24. If I want to add more length to my ports to make it lower, can I put curves like an elbow joint on the aero port since my box isnt very long? If I could do that, then I could make them longer and achieve lower tuning like mid 30's or does putting a curve in an aero port mess up how it works? I know in slot ported boxes most have curves in the port walls
  25. alright.. Thanks again for the help. I just have no idea how 39hz will be, I had 33hz last time and loved the lows.. I was hoping to go lower like 30 and with 6 2's or 3's I could have hit 30-33hz because smaller port diameters needed less length and would actually fit.
