  1. I'm not an expert box builder by any means, but on the angle in the port, you have part of the 90 degree turn 45'd and the other part is still a 90. Is that how every box is? Just thought I'd ask since I saw it lol otherwise looks like a fun build!
  2. Damn. The spiders on that sub look awesome! Plus the huge motor on that thing! NICE.
  3. Kool-aid man.. lol But 12 or 16 of any sub is going to be loud! I'd love to see that build!
  4. Shoot man Good luck with your results!
  5. Yeah, at this point i've only taken the shops advice, I'll hook it up and see what happens!

I never would have thought the BTL would be louder with the same amount of watts.. Thanks again guys! Next sub I will be purchasing will have to be the BTL!
  7. Freshh replied to Freshh's topic in Fi Products
Yeah I'm sure the BTL kicks ass Duran, but I don't have those kind of watts running through my stereo.. yet ;p But thanks guys I think that's what I was wanting to here, that the BL's can still sound good. Appreciate it!

I understand all of that, but if all were put in their optimal enclosure in the same vehicle, how would they stack up? Musically.. 1) Q 2) ?? 3) ?? Output.. 1) BL 2) ?? 3) ?? I hope I don't sound like to much of a noob, just trying to learn ;D

Hi there, basically I would like to know if off of the same amount of power in the same box, and same application, would the Q deliver more output than the SSD? Or just sound more musical? And would the Bl be a step down from the SSD musically? From my understandings the BL is focused more towards output, and the Q is focused more towards the quality of the noise it makes. (Please correct me if I'm wrong, as I very well may be) Where does the SSD stand other than "all around daily sub" while compared to the Q and the BL.
  10. Yeah, the truck is beautiful. I think I would have stayed away from running boards on a lowered truck though.. But if you like them... more power to you!
  11. Shit I was in a hurry.. I didn't take any fuses out, I just unhooked the power wires from the amp.. If that is the case, what'd I do?
  12. I have it all hooked up to a different better amp now, I'm either going to see if this would be an easy fix or just throw it in the trash.
  13. Alrighty, what do I buy to test it? And where lol
  14. Hey guys, I'm just looking for some help or advice on what to do with my old amplifier. It's a RF punch series P500-2 (I believe the 2008 model? --Silver metal plates cover it), I recently had a local audio store run my wires through my new car and my intentions were to hook up that amplifier. But before they install any amp they run some kind of test on it to make sure it works, at least so he told me, and he said the amp was broken, with no further comments about it. That didn't seem right to me, although it may very well be broken, but I questioned it because I had it installed in my old vehicle (GMC Jimmy) and when I sold the Jimmy it worked just fine. So I'm thinking it either broke just sitting in the garage for 4 months? Or when I unhooked it? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
  15. Always wanted to do a hairtrick..
  16. lol dont listen to this guy. only legs and arms. lol. and 30 minutes????? lol you wont get shit outta 30 minutes. ive been working out for years and i will tell you 30 minutes is bullshiit. as for you question about walking on elipt. etc. the answer is 0 minutes. you shouldnt be walking to burn fat. to burn fats you need high intensity. do sprints 95% of your max effort for like 15 seconds, followed by 1 minute fast walk, then 15 seconds max, followed by 1 minute fast walk or jog. repeat. i like to lift weights, then hit cardio. because by then you already burned off your calories and can start burning off fats. if you walk for 20 minutes, you havent hit any fats yet, you only burned off the calories you just ate. FYI, before you go burning other peoples ideas, maybe you should get an idea of how the body works.. walking burns more fat calories then running does. Also, props to trying to better yourself HZD! The schedule looks like a good idea to me! Diet is one of the most important factors in keeping a healthy body! So I'm sure you'll see quick results if you do all of those things you mentioned! Good luck.
  17. The box is probably in the bed of the truck, ;D
  18. Dang that sucks, nobody likes that orange light on the dash..
  19. Agreed ^ Also, sorry to hear about your accident.. :/ at least you're alright!
  20. That's quite a large leap! Gratz!
  21. Alright thanks for the help, I'll keep the subs I have, and look at having a new box made or building one myself to the specs. I just looked up my subs and it turns out they are 600 watts rms, not 300 like I thought, isnt it bad for my subs to be running half the rms they are supposed to have? If i upgraded amps to get 600 rms to each sub instead of the 300 they are getting now that should make a pretty big difference shouldnt it? It'll make a difference, for sure! But it's not bad at all to be under the rms. I'd upgrade the box first like Alton said, and go from there.
  22. Those 10's look bad ass! Good luck for 150!
