I just put the back of the box against the back of the rear seats, that's what I would say to do, but none of us are or will be sitting in your car. Play around with it yourself and see what sounds the best.

Just a guess, but since they took the 4 inch VC out of the BL series subs I think I saw a thread somewhere that they mentioned a 4 inch vc might end up somewhere else.. oh the anticipation...

I have the IA mids in the stock position of my doors running off of my HU and they sound great!

Why don't you just buy a D4 and wire it at 2 ohms, so you'll get close to the right wattage. It'll be MUCH easier on your electrical, and in the future if you need to you can add another D4 and it'd be wired at 1 ohm. Just a suggestion.

I'd say that's pretty dang close to the correct tuning frequency, as a guesstimate anyways, I'm building a box that's ~7 cubic feet and has a port 38.5 long and 3 inches wide and it's like 32.5 hz roughly if I remember correctly.
