  10. Im looking for a list of banned amplifiers for the dbdrag street trunk class.. I cant really find a list anywhere and iv heard that american bass amps are ban in the street classes, but i cant find an actual list.
  11. Alright. I might even pick up a book like you suggested.. Do you have any titles in mind?
  12. Alright, so on my quest to get louder out of my trunk, I'm trying to really understand enclosure designs, and how different enclosure sizes effect response, output and other factors. Now I know the general basics, larger enclosures will be more efficient, smaller enclosures less efficient. But I guess I'm looking for some more in-depth information.

Well.. If you like the way the setup is right now, Id go with about 2 cubes per sub.. So 8 cuft, keep the tuning the same if your enjoying it and yes, typically subwoofers firing upward, port rear is the best in an SUV type setup.

Tuning will be based on your personal preference in music and how you want it to sound.. Iv heard multiple people say they like the sound of higher tuning, and many people who love the lows so they tune low, so its hard to tell you what tuning to design your box at.
  15. Great place to start out is here. SSA makes solid products, and there a ton of people who will help you out with car audio knowledge.
  16. Alright, trying to help out here because I have a 2004 Impala.. As far as stupid loud bass goes, best option to start out would be two 12's.. Easy to make an efficient enclosure for and I would check out the SSA line in terms of subs. Two 12" Xcons would do some work in that car for sure. Ill add you as a friend, lots easier to talk that way.
  17. There the shops speakers, not mine, so dont be spreading rumors. ^^
  18. Alright.. You guys got it. Sean ruined my fun by already posting a pic.
