I i've got a pair of w6 that we're old that I have put new surrounds on and they sound amazing..but if u want something that has a little more thump id go with the ssd. But like said above they do have some amazing sound quality.

My brother just picked up a vlx3de the other day. working on putting it to work on a fi audio 18" n2...lets you guys know what it can do.

yeah don't think so neither. seems like overkill...since fi audio went with this new n2 version which is way lighter than there original design. I think i'm going to go with a single sheet of 1" mdf and a piece over top to flush fit the sub. and there is two speaker boxes on the sides to screw it to.

this stuff seems pretty tough...does this wire have any flexibility?

Hey whats going on. had a question since fi audio came out with there new version n2. is there a need for a double 1" mdf baffle like there spec cut-sheets say. since the n2 is less weight?

Hello guy was really looking at some new subs to replace my old jl audio w6 12"s. I was interested in the sundown sa12 model and been checking out some nasty videos where these sub can take a beating and put up some numbers. But was wondering if there where any standard cut sheets on these subs? I've seen on there website for box volumes. Was thinking on going ported and i have not built any ported boxes, but was just wanting to just get the dimensions and go.

i've got a 10" ssd no options ordered the 14th of october and have'nt seen any change on my order yet. I know they where waiting for magnet from overseas somewhere???? Instead of making a response in a thread, email them and give them time to respond. There has been some hold-up at the build house and everything should be getting taken care of shortly. I know there busy. e-mailed them two weeks ago and got an e-mail back saying be patient and that they were going to e-mail me back early that next week, but no reply yet. so i gave up e-mailing them, cause i know that they are busy, so i'm going to leave them alone, but be would be nice to know whats going on. if they even got there magnets to build theses items or not?

Hey how long did it take to get your subs? Asking cause i ordered a 10" SSD no options and it's been like 3 weeks already and no tracking info yet. But going another route for now got some used jl audio w6 that i'm going to refoam and install for now..

yeah didn't get an e-mail yet so don't really know whats going on with my order. don't know if they got there parts yet or not so guess all that's left to do is wait some more. i know they are swamped with work so I'm trying to be patient, but the old sub i had finally took a crap now i don't have nothing, cause I'm waiting for this sub.

hey here just checking in on there shipment on sat. got an e-mail last week letting me now that they were going to get a shipment in last weekend and that i was going to get an e-mail soon on my order. seems like forever placed the order on oct14 for a ssd 10", just trying to be patient, but the sub i have in my ride is f#$#.

rosin core solder and a butane torch works for me. just strip the wire slide the terminal cover on then install the wire and slightly crimp and heat and let the solder drip into the terminal end. just dont use to much heat!

just wanted to say hello. new here and was very interested in this company and there audio equipment. so decided to purchase ther 10" ssd fi audio sub on the 14 of october order# I-15083/00 dated 10/14/2010 . as there website is listed of an backorder for the 31st, i was wondering when i am going to see this sub here in tennessee. i know this company is swamped with order but just wanted to see some insite on this. thx
