How long have you driven with the new alt? Try letting the car idle for 10 minutes, see if the computer corrects it. At least 2 days. I did exactly that and nothing was correct. Was exactly the same as when it did it the first time. Sounds like you should at least do a tune up on it, things like plugs/wires. What do you mean a tune up? On the engine? what do you think that would cost me to get that? A burnt exhaust valve? I am not sure where that is located, but i can tell you i had my exhuast pipe and muffler custom installed 2.25 inches all the way from the motor. Not sure if that matters at all. Update... Today i guess the mechanic took it around to see if he could bog my engine down like i had explained to him how it did. He left it in his shop for 30-40 before someone needed to get an oil change. They pulled my car out and did the oil change for whoever. Another mechanic went to get my car and noticed smoke coming out of the trunk. Now mind you, this is where my extra battery is, fuses, and most importantly my amp is. My BRAND NEW AQX3500.1D amp is. Waiting to hear back from him. I am on my way to work and my dad will be updating me while i am there. I will update this when i get home. FML.

Alright, so i have some news... I installed the alternator, was a bit troublesome like the first time to get it in but i did eventually get it in. Before turning on my car i had my dad check over it to make sure i installed it right and had a certified auto mechanic check it. Was in perfectly. Strangely enough, whenever i start my Honda accord everything is fine and turns on great. If i turn on my A/C my car takes a heavier load which as always the RPM's of my motor go down and my car has to work harder. At this point my car shakes TREMENDOUSLY and the first time i thought my car was about to stall out, my car is an automatic. This also happens when i stop at red lights, slow down near a dead stop somewhere, even when i put my car in park after driving it. Even with the A/C off. I don't know if it's the alternator but all i know is that this problem started happening after i put in my alternator. My car is currently being inspected for anything that could be wrong with the car other then the alternator, but i figure i should post this up for everyone

Sorry, i posted it before i had to leave for work. It looks interesting. You can see the casting is actually thicker and now instead of one hole for the mounting, you have three. I will post up pictures tomorrow

I like it a lot actually. Way better then the kenwood and it beats hard. I am actually scared that i am going to bust my woofers so i keep it on a low gain setting lol. One of two though, so once i get those SSA prototypes, game over lol! Haha i know right!? I am upgrading to 2-4 3100's XS batteries

I honestly don't know who that is. But i have been talking to different people about bottoming out subwoofers. There are many scenarios that will cause a driver to bottom out. An example is an improper enclosure (too big) with too much power being applied to the driver. Okay, that's what i thought. But in this case don't you think that you would be pushing high power to the Zcons?

Sorry Steve. I am not trying to be rude but i know your busy so how am I going to be able to get a hold of you? I know you get spammed with a lot of emails or anything on SMD or youtube. Most of them some kid with 2 12's in his car asking what a DB is. So i don't know how i would even attempt to get into contact with you. I know that it sounded like i was bashing, and assuming which again, i apologize for. But, i was more asking what people thought about it and if it actually would be a working tool. I am glad that your taking the time to develop your product and send it out. Again, i had no idea so i ask on this SSA forum. I take it personally because i am the OP of this thread... I know you don't get rich on your subwoofer, you do get promotion, and you do get money from Youtube. I know you are making quite a lot of money, seeing as i have been watching your Youtube near when you started. I remember you buying a shop and now your doing it big. Hopefully, i will make some calls today after school and see if i can't get something... I don't have any money to buy another alt. Almost everything. Been selling my system, i needed to keep my cell phone for work so my parents picked up that bill. I just wish DC power would help me because in all honesty, it's not my fault the alternator broke. If it was i would understand but it was a manufacturing flaw. The only reason i didn't get my alternator fixed 3 months ago because i was promised the first month the casting would come in, then told they were coming in after that month and to wait just a bit longer, then after a month of that tried to get a hold of people for some what of a month and here we are, me almost broke selling everything i have just to work.

I can barley get to work some days and some days i have to call in work because i don't have a car I can even drive over because i have to juggle family cars just to get there. Shouldn't it be your goal to please everyone? I feel like more and more people are having problems with your alternators. It's not my fault my alternator broke.

I haven't gotten back word from anything. I can't even get calls back when i call you guys. Yeah i bought it second hand. After you guys had just fixed it. It wasn't supposed to break again but it did. It's not my fault that i have been out 3 months without a alt because yours broke on me. I haven't been shown good customer service man, i haven't gotten any phone calls back. I have asked for updates and i get none back. I'm not running my mouth, i am just showing the difficulties and the problems in this situation that i semi experience in mine.
