  1. Copper is heavier. Aluminum dissipates heat better, better thermal power handling. Generically, copper hits lows, aluminum may peak higher. It all depends on the design of the driver. Cone weight, spider thickness, number of spiders, coil size, copper/aluminum coil, coil layers, gap size...........
  2. Xmech is affected by numerous items but in response to your question about spiders; manufactuer specifications will help you determine that. Spider stiffness has nothing to do with xmech.
  3. Sounds like a plan man.
  4. Well, for the most part, alot has to do with mass: coill and cone and spider stiffness or lack of.
  5. I could rock that, no doubt. Yeah man, cant really touch those. I love different. Rittz fits the bill. Mac Miller has a nice flow. I dig it. Not too far off the main stream though..... I guess you guys never liked Fu-Schnickens or Das EFX or Bone Thugs..... I like das efx first album...after that, they got a lil stale imo I agree, although "Freakit" was hot
  6. BTW, my favorite rap song ever....

  8. Really? Come one man. Most of the shit that is being produced isn't any where near Rittz. Did you even listen to him? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M6UV6QWw3s&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77YzouiFZOc
  9. It is actually fairly simple to build a speaker. But, to build a speaker that performs as you want is another story. Start simple
  10. Sweeeeeeeet p.s. Project Pat - The Appeal. Whole album. Nuff said. High Five
  11. I do believe that's his wife Yes sir. His Blazer was way ahead of it's time. So was Richard Clark's Grand National. You just do not see installs like that anymore. Hell, I have a hidden faceplate install. People are like "what the hell". That was common back then. Maybe someday when I have the cash and time I will do what I have been dreaming of lol The minis these days are badass. No bs there. Anybody remember "Last Look". Another one of my inspirations.
  12. Suuurrreee lol Like I said I have never seen a better install. Fishman is a close second though
  13. 1992... I was 13 years old and was bugging the hell out of my local car audio shops thanks to Mark Fukuda. My Mom bought me Auto Sound & Security every month since I was 12 (including MiniTruck). I had my first Kicker 8" sub at age 11 (hahaha my enclosure for it was a Tuperware container) Lol Kicker and MTX was the shit back then. Omg MTX IB was bang'n!!!! Anyways....1992... Mark Fukuda... as I turned the pages my jaw dropped. I honestly, 19 years later have never seen a better install. I still remember reading about him playing Floyd - The Wall at 150db. I remember thinking who is Pink Floyd lolololololo If I remember his 16 15" hit 152.x or 156.xx....man how times change. Now one 15" gets you 158.xx.
  14. Bags last these days. Early nineties not so. You can bag struts God luck with tire wear if it is your dd. Op - is there an online catalog? Suicidedoors products available? Any Air Ride Technology products?
  15. Let's see pics of the box that is built. You have the turbo four? Did you see how small the intercooler is? Lolz
  16. Yea, well I was gonna do a single 12 with a slot port, but the box was big for that too. Turned out I could run a 15 with aero ports in a box not much bigger, but we'll see how long I keep this for. I might be disappointed with how the car handles and accelerates with the extra weight.. It should pound in a hatch no doubt. I bet two SA-10 would be great for an RSX; light, small box and pound. I had two 12" L7 in mine. With my buddies in the car the acceleration was meh ok at best. I am sure you know this. Your box will probably affect acceleration atleast imo. Is that a big deal to you? Put a clubrsx header and clubrsx intake on it and a k-pro and you will be happy Let us know how things go!
  17. I used to have that same car but in black. I am surprised you a putting a big box in it.
  18. My favorite by far, Cyberoptix - Ghettoblaster http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4wNYYIyMKU
  19. I didn't. You don't. I use plastic to bond them together. Do you ever drill holes in the panel to allow resin to seep through to join the fiberglass and panel? What plastic agent do you use? All I can find is really expensive.
  20. Must be they still bounce
  21. I don't know what is going on but I like big boobs
  22. You would'nt tell the difference. Lol with the driver's impedence curve it will not be 1.xx ohms anyways.
  23. Robbie offered his product to me at no up front cost. He knows his product is the best in it's class and had no doubts that I would see the same. He also knows that I will pay him for his product. What the cost is that I pay Robbie for the alternator is between himself and me. It is obvious to everybody else why my situation was handled the way it was. Hell that's why I made this thread to begin with. So please tell me WHAT YOU do not understand I hope this is not another superfluous post by you but it sure does look as though. I will reply to your comment one last time. After that you are on your own... Well that's weird. Because in another topic i read that he sold that alternator right after you wanted a refund. He told you that too. Sorry i can't pull the quote up. DC Power probably makes alternators in batches. I also know for a fact that I am not the only one that is receiving this alternator for this car. So he probably did sell an alternator that was originally designed for my vehicle's application but my point is that I am not the only person with this car and that has a need for a DC Power alt. There has been a lot of situations that were not handled well, so i don't understand why your more special then all of the other DC power customers who had a horrible time working with DC power. DC Power has handled each "problem" differently. DC Power truly does want happy customers and has shown that many many times. Is DC Power perfect? No. And that is why you see instances such as mine AND YOURS. They might phuck up but they try to make up for it. And my situation is special? Really? Piss off You are the guy that was bad mouthing DC Power left and right. You even called them screaming and throwing a fit. Would I have given you service or a product after that? Hell NO. Even after all of your whining about being broke and this and that they still helped you. That was DC Power's way of going above and beyond FOR YOU. I don't appriciate you trying to call me names. You can, as it is your choice. I haven't bashed you at all, and i don't plan to. I hope you feel better putting me down. I just don't understand your train of thought (or rob's), which i am trying to understand. Sigh. Really? Again? Come on bro. Ugh...sigh...ugh If you are (I think you are) confused by my statement "I hope this is not another superfluous post by you but it sure does look as though." It means that "I hope this is not another unnecessary post by you....." This is hardly calling you names. I hope that you understand the reason for this thread. If you do not then I guess you will just be confused. Good luck to you DarkTinman!
  24. Lolz
  25. Too bad T3 is taking an indefinite hiatus.
