  1. I am always impressed with you guys over in Russia! The tire flex is pretty badass!!
  2. I have no idea what I am doing with a port this big Hopefully it sounds good and gets decently loud No more pics today but maybe tomorrow!
  3. Thanks for your input!!!! I used PSP port calculator to determine port length for the volume I have. I deducted the port volume as well when calculating net volume. Overall port length is between 22-23".
  4. An OA 18" for $148(think thats the presale price) is a crazy good deal.
  5. Good looking build porkchop. I am curious to hear your thoughts on the four 8"ers!
  6. I think there is a possibility that due to port size and location the driver may act as though it isn't in an enclosure I do not know if I could do some mechanical damage either on 2000 watts. I am very limited on enclosure size, hopefully this works well. I will let you know for sure how it sounds! Thanks Rick. I am kicking myself in my arse for selling the 3kwp. It was a powerful and beautiful amp I should have put it in a glass case in my living room lol. Unfortunately for my current vehicle it is too big and too much power. I bought the 2.0K back in Nov 2011 when they had a presale. Same as Crescendo, it is a great looking amp and I suspect it will perform just as good.
  7. Thanks Duane. I am anxious to hear this radio!
  8. I cant wait to show you these guys in my trunk update? Instead of cluttering Adrian_D's for sale thread my build log can be found here.
  9. My current build can be found here. Decided to try out a ZCON. I probably would not have bought one but I bought this used at a good price. USPS is holding the driver at their facility so hopefully tomorrow I can pick it up. Really going a different route with the enclosure as well. I picked up a few 8" aero ports from Adrian_D Enclosure specs : 4.11^ft tuned at 35hz The port opening is literally right beside the sub. I am very curious how this will work out. I suspect some funky things will happen, we will see. Port will be semi external and sub will be mounted inverted. I will eventually be powering it with my DC Audio 2.0K that I've had in my closet for four months. Just have to wire/mount it up. Enclosure is almost done. I have some finishing touches to do yet.
  10. Here is a screenshot of the PCB layout that I designed, very basic. I need to print this out and transfer it to a single sided copper board to be etched.
  11. Team work!!!! I love it!!
  12. Didn't Robert Zeff have a hand in designing that? I hope these processors are released soon.
  13. RF now has a price tag on this, $699.99 No new information has been released. I've read the expected release date is the first quarter of 2012.
  14. Look'n tight!
  15. ...and, NEW? Pics!!
  16. I've read experience outweighs all other tools used when designing a driver. Unfortunately I have no experience. Kudos to you. Not sure where you are located. I could have a good conversation over a couple of beers with you
  17. Sweat. Did you use software to help achieve your goals? SpeaD? WT3 for specs?
  18. Yes you can, primitively. Play incremental test tones and use a spreadsheet to record the SPL. The data that was collect will represent any peaks and dips in the FR.
  19. Received my MP3 decoder today Added a penny in the pic to show size
  20. Excellent craftsmanship! I noticed you cut a channel along side the port for the carpet. Where else on the box did you do that?
  21. Make it a family event, bring the wife too. My wife hates every aspect of my car audio hobby. She definitely will not be there lol.
  22. Larger pics would be nice
  23. That comparison can be used for any manufacturer. Exactly, but not all have triple digit percentage mark up's. Crescendo has triple digit percentage marks ups? I have owned Crescendo products. I have also delt with their customer service. From my experience their products perform as intended and when I needed contact customer support thier response was timely and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about Crescendo products or Crescendoas a company. This isnt based hersay or speculation but rather from my experience.
  24. Do you have any carpeting tips?
  25. Awesome trip. Thanks for sharing.
