4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Actually doing bedliner...right now i'm looking at samples of them all. Ruled out suede a while ago after doing my headliner and I can't sew for crap so...figured the liner would be the best choice as far as being tough and holding up.

Did multiple runs of 1/0 really help you?
The d3100 will be in the back.... So the saying "keep the ground wire short as possible" does not apply if running from ground post on #1 battery to ground post on battery #2?

Searched online, everything's out in the west or the south... Only one I know of is the performance and style show in Carlisle PA.

Well, as far as the video of us putting the box in, theres not a video...I waited around 2 hours for my help to come, he never did. Then I was just like screw it, im doing this myself and I did! I just tilted the box on the side and got an edge propped on the false floor and slid it in...170lb box, couldn't believe it lol At this rate....max 2 weeks for this to be jammin

I plan on putting it in tonight...might get a vid- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Subs are coming today! Box is pretty much done. After everything added up, about 15 cubes tuned at 33hz. 227 inches of port area Everything resin'd- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Little update, I kicked up the port a few notches, 227 inches...The box is almost complete... Subs were ordered yesterday, wiring and the XS 3100 will be ordered next week...trim panel construction will commence this week...and my goal for everything to be buttoned up is the 29th! If any of you guys are coming to Carlisle Truck Nationals, I'll be there parked with Fullsizechevy.com, come up and tell me who you are!- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
99% sure tuning is going to be at 30hz. Then with the displacement of the port will knock down my volume which in turn will bring down the min port area, so im good there. Right now i'm really stressing out about this project...my deadline is just over 4 weeks from now and I dont have an abundance of time. I'm also freakin out about making the trim panel...I've never done one before, it seems like its going to be a royal pain in the a$$!- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Thanks guys! yes, i'm going to add more inches to my port....due to wanting to stick to 25hz, I have to make the port bigger and longer thus bumping my internal volume to 14.2 cubes :/ Plus i'm going to have to go with some external port...what I really didn't want to do but whatever lol but then again i'm going to make another port tuned at about 35hz, so i'll be able to switch between them.. Here's a pic of my happy since this thing is almost done...the port that is in the picture is being scrapped lol- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Got some progress down today...still dont know what i'm going to do with this port...- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Something like this....5 of these glued together However i'm a little concerned about my port size...according to calculations, that the correct size for 86" of port area 15" long for 25hz...You guys think it will suffice?- Runs of 0 gauge on 3500d
I was talking about the advantage of running multiple runs How much voltage drop did you have and what electrical?- Runs of 0 gauge on 3500d
Im getting mixed info like crazy on this one...mainly concerned with keeping voltage drop to a minimum. I've read, more wire, the better..then i've read there was no difference i.e. Sean replaced his 10 y/o 0ga with brand new 2 runs of 0 and he gained nothing... Here's my electrical before you guys ask for it....DB electrical 250a alt and plan on running a XS Power D3100 in the back.- Wife's build, yes my wife now rocking Sundown!
Nice box! That's quite a bit of box for one SA8, let us know how it handles- 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
Updates...bought my 13 ply Birch yesterday and started layering the sides...pics will come probably sunday evening and here's a tease for the door panels **unrelated glamour shot** - 4 SA-15/SAZ3500d Walled GMC Sierra
