my friend has a btl n2 15. it hits some nasty lows (in a good way). It will sound good if you build the proper enclosure and get crazy loud. Dont clip it and you will be very happy with it.
  10. hey bro any update on when my sub will ship?
  11. What a beauty! How long did it take to get it? My friend is trying to see if he can get them before Texas Heatwave a month from now
  12. Nice build. Looks good for the first box. Thats a big port haha.
  13. Haha im in my final year of highschool too you should be fine with the amp. Run it with proper electrical=no problems. You should run a couple duralst golds. For 90 bucks each you cant go wrong.
  14. Email NDMstang65 on here. He will help you out best in your case.
  15. Ii would recomend going sealed. Or maybe do one 10" ported. A 1.5^ft box ported would have to have either a really long port or very little port area to tune low. High qts option would be good if you decide to go sealed.
  16. ah gotcha... well good luck on return im sure you'll have no prob .... the Fi guys are good people... may take a little while... but well worth it Thanks man. Yea just gotta be patient.
  17. lol i know right Yea haha. But its not my truck it's my mom's. So im limited on trunk space. Im only 17.
  18. Dimensions are the same. My friend has a n2 and he just reconed it with the ufo version recone... Its playing like a champ
  19. I had a soundstream xxx 15 in a 4.6 cubic foot box with port taking up around 2.4 cubes tuned at 34 hz... The SQ was amazing for it being in such little airspace and it got loud. Metered a 147 db@ 43 hz. But i built a box for a friend for a Quantum Audio 15" in a 2.5^ft sealed box (biggest he could go) and it sounded like sh*t! You may wanna go with a 12"
  20. A guy on youtube was running 8 gauge and said most of the wire wouldnt go in all the way. He metered like 149.9 i think. Then switched to 10 gauge and had a better fit on the terminals and metered 150.1 i think. But he gained db.
  21. I Just got a new Q and i ordered the cool option but it dosnt add any extra length. I think the cooling is designed inside of the motor which forces air around the voice coil.
  22. Hey bro, when my Q is built. Is Fi going to ship the prepaid shipping label with the sub? They said they were going to email you the prepaid level. Whenever you got just print it out and tape to the package. Then drop it off at UPS. They are not in a hurry to get that sub yet. Im sure your Q is in the works though. Be patient my friend. ^^^^^^^^ Ohh ok. That works out, thanks man.
  23. Hey bro, when my Q is built. Is Fi going to ship the prepaid shipping label with the sub?
  24. Have you sent the label yet? If not can you send it to my other email... [email protected] Thanks
