I was waiting for this comment. Im looking at the SSA subs and i have a pair of xsv2's here with me and they look very alike. I have the chrome motor v2's but ive had the newer xsv2's with slightly diferent top plate which look almost exactly like these SSA's What's your point? Who pucking cares what I looks like. Does it make you feel better pointing out the resemblance of the two drivers. Aparently you cared... Otherwise you wouldnt have asked "who wants to see these 74 lbs beasts" or something like that. And no it doesn't make me feel better but this is an audio forum to discuss everything audio related; whether its crossover points or the similarity and diferences between 2 drivers.

Daing thats a big diference! Im sure after they loosen up you will gain a bit though

I ot to hear the Zcons last night. Nightshades were louder to me, smoother transition between frequencies and never smelled when i got a demo. Zcons seemed to have a punchier transition. Kind of like when i switched from Xsv2's to Btl's.

This thing is gonna be nasty! Low end extension on the Sp4's is killer

I built a box for a local guy that had that amp on a DD 9518g and that amp was a joke! Turned up all the way and it wouldnt move the sub free air to even an inch of excursion!

I dont have all the extensive knowledge and dicipline but thats why I asked. Otherwise it would be alot more dificult in the future if I do decide to start a business to start blank..
