  1. Shit happens. This is what any other retailer would do. They are offering what they have available to attempt to please you. Worst ever is one hell of a stretch.
  2. I hate low mileage cars. Seals, hoses, etc, a still shot.
  3. Ah, it's just money.
  4. Just shut up and buy a 911 already.
  5. Guess he wanted to go swimming.
  6. So, I tucked Gavin in tonight, and I always tell Harry goodnight as well. So I look in his habitat and he's nowhere to be found. It looked as if he'd burrowed in his log, so I thought nothing of it. Ten minutes later, I walk in to take a piss and as I turn on the light, I see him chillin on the tub. Fucking hilarious! I have no idea how he escaped.
  7. Shit, it's all of them. $30K for a fucking Focus?! I don't think so. Priced any GMs lately? Same damn thing. People are out of their minds buying new vehicles. I don't see how they sell at all.
  8. We're getting hit again also. It's light flaky shit and windy as hell so hopefully, it will just blow away.
  9. Continental TownCar
  10. Body style I think is the only big difference. Lincoln is the same to ford as Cadillac is to gm. A playground for new ideas. No matter how stupid they are. Two totally different beasts. The Conti was FWD, based on the Taurus chassis. It was a unibody vehicle, with the DOHC 4.6 mounted transversely with a transmission that could barely handle the power of the anemic Vulcan 3.0. The Town Car is a Panther platform (body-on-frame), RWD, SOHC 4.6, with 4 speed OD trans. I also hate to say it, but Lincoln has not held a candle to Cadillac since the mid 90s. They've become nothing more than a Ford with a tuxedo.
  11. Actually it's a Continental.
  12. The only thing you're missing is glue.
  13. Bad injector(s) will cause rough running/idling/hard starting depending on the issue. You'll always have a bit of fuel smell in the oil. I've had a couple DOHCs and they eat a little bit of oil, but never the SOHC. My Town Car has 170K on it and does not use a drop of oil, nor did my old T-bird (320K on it), nor did my GT.
  14. Neal, I have used Amsoil in the past without issue. I only used it because it was cheap though. I also know several racers who have used it as well in alcohol and nitro issues without issue even with fuel washdown.
  15. Want another 5-year-old? I have to work again and no sitter.
  16. I thank god I never had a problem. Loved the 5.4 when the rest of the truck was working. This truck was an immaculate 2008 F150 with 75K. The owner wanted a tune up, it wasn't due, nor needed based on drivability issues. I forewarned him of what could happen, and even did Ford's recommended soak overnight. 3 came apart. If you look at one of the plugs you will see that the threads tore right off the plug. When I removed the socket the metal came out, while the porcelain and side electrode portion stayed in the hole. I have seen plugs blow out of a vehicle like that, but I have never seen, nor heard of the porcelain remaining in the hole while the threaded portion came out. Of course #4 and #8 broke. They are the 2 rear plugs. The other was, fortunately #1 and very easy to access. I had the Rotunda (Ford factory) removal tool before, but it was worn out. I bought the Lisle equivalent last year. This was my first time using it, and IMO it worked better than the Ford tool. It is a very low profile set up, so it fit into the rear holes relatively easy. Did that one have the sticky injector issue?
  17. It will just hit you one day out of nowhere. I speak from experience.
  18. VERY awesome! I spy a rotor sitting there too.
  19. Maybe you can do a little digging because word is Sean has two for every room in his house. Those would be MAXI pads. Cam GUARANTEE he does not have ipads.
  20. Holy shit man. I can never understand suicide. Obviously there are mental issues there if you go that route, but it still baffles me to no end. It's the ultimate act of selfishness IMO.
  21. Oh, if we're talking golden arches, FUCK THAT!
  22. I'll take a greasy burger over Indian food every time.
  23. I have heard every driver they offer. That being said, I will NEVER spend that kind of money on a driver that plays so little of the spectrum. I just can't see it. Of course, I am not an "audiophile" either, but then, anyone who brands themself so has some issues IMO. Anyways, it's simple marketing. Their stuff has some merit, but nothing that warrants even half of their retail. The electrostats are just short of amazing, but I don't see their point in a vehicle. My first introduction to them was the mid 90s when I went to a show and Shaq's van was there and he had something like fifteen 15s in that bitch walled off and a couple in a console he used for daily driving. It was nuts. They went out of business, ICON bought them and inflated the shit out of them and you have what you have now.
  24. You could have just stopped here.
  25. I'll sell her a Lincoln on the cheap.
