Welcome to the IHoP v.2
The o ring on the injector nearest the bumper is stuck inside the fuel rail I believe, that or it is gone completely. I'm going to try to use a dental mirror to confirm, but it feels like there is a rubbery squish when I try to put the rail down on the injector. Last time I took it off it slid back on like cupcakes.I can't get the rail to mate with the injector. It feels like it has a solid connection, but gas just sprays out. I tried petroleum jelly and wd 40 to maybe ease the injector into the o ring while inside the rail. No luck. Maybe I will get my first bit of good luck and the O ring will just be MIA and I can grab one from the store and not worry about removal from the rail. The last attempt of the night/morning had the rail seated deeper than ever but it still just shot out fuel, so perhaps it got washed out. As much of a pain all this has been for me, I don't think I have ever learned so much intangible info on working on a vehicle. Ruined the fuck out of my manicure though. Oh and thank you guys for reminding me to blow out the holes before pulling the plugs. WTF, one of the holes on the drivers side was stuffed with dried out coolant powder. Ultra nasty. the oring must be on the injector, not in the hole. Use a pick to fish it out... barring use of a pick, angle a wire coathanger to reach into the rail and fish it out. Finally got it with a pick and coat hanger. Had to loosen ths EGR pipe to lift the rail high enough. Used my cell phone to confirm and check. It was awesome. I feel so good that I got this done. You guys helped a ton! I can't tell you how bad I hate that fucking EGR tube!

so i take it you enjoyed tearingthat 5.4 apart huh? i did too. ford really didnt think about the mechanic wyen they designed that setup How so? The modular engines are easy as shit to work on. My only gripe is the timing cover.

It should go on with minimal effort. Did you bend the rail perhaps?

NEM's Evilinator!!
I will have to wait until I get the sealed box built to answer that. You are the only person that will ever seal an evil Not saying that it isn't a good fit for it, but it probably isn't what most people would do with the Evil. I am definitely tuned in for the results, and love the fact that you are trying it out! I seal every woofer I own. I am not a fan of vented enclosures. For home audio, absolutely, but not in-car. Yet, if you pop the trunk in my car you'll see a W7 in a vented enclosure.

What part? I heard the rotary blades are a closer shave, but can irritate more. All I cared about was a kinda close shave with way less irritation. Since they have the 60 day money back I thought why not. It was expensive but I got it at 60% sticker. I don't like any part of it. I have to shave in four directions, it pulls the hair, no matter the length, clogs too easily, and the foil just feels like it's scraping my skin off. I clean it as instructed in their machine with their cleaning agent after every use as well. I'll still use it though during the week, but Fridays I revert back to the old Mach 3.

That's what I was wondering. I had 4 pulled, two were broken,GA, and only paid $500 out of pocket. Had my daughters pulled and between both health and dental, I payed $0. . I had horrible insurance at Sears.
