surround sound in vehicle
Depends on who you talk to. Some argue that, due to our non-ideal seating positions in a vehicle, surround sound offers one of the better options for improving imaging and sound stage. Which is the reason, for example, the JBL MS8 has ProLogic7. Not because it was designed to be an in-vehicle media center, but because the engineers @ JBL felt it offered one of the better solutions for improved imaging. But what good does that do to a signal recorded in stereo?

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I got a new pair of Filas and LOVE them. Lightest shoe I've ever worn and they have a design that channels air through them. Coolest (literally) shoe I've ever worn. I got these for $28 shipped. http://www.fila.com/ULTIMATE-LITE/1SR20095,en_US,pd.html?start=116&cgid=mens-shoes&srule=price-low-to-high

Unfortunately for me hydrocodone didn't do much when I had my tonsils out. Like Matt2, Ibuprophen worked much better for me. Truth be told I threw the rest of the 'codone away because I disliked it so much. The guys at work pop Vics like candy, but I'm much like you. It never did anything for me. Maybe took an edge off, but that's about it.

why was/is this alpine amp $250?
Are you saying $250 is too much for this amp? I would gladly take this $250 650 watt Alpine over any of $250 1200 Korean or chinese amps.

I did not call you a kid. I said there is no need for that childish behavior and that's all that thread was. There's no need to twist anything or put words in peoples' mouths.

More or less what I was going to do to the TBSS or Caddy. Having a hard time swallowing a Chrysler. Although I had a shit experience with a GM, I feel way safer making that gamble than a Chrysler. That being said, if the new explorer had a Coyote it'd be a no brainer.I am the worst Chrysler critic, but when it comes to Jeeps, I think they've not done as much damage there. Everyone I know that owns or has owned one has loved them. Two of the guys at work have GCs, and the plant manager has some special edition GC. He was talking about putting a blower on it, but I don't know if he ever did.

I don't know what the MKT tows, but it's the Explorer with the EcoBoost V6 and Lincon "luxury", so there is your power you want. I see 2010-11s around $30-35K.

FI Sp4 On Fire.. Warranty?
Who holds the patent, if I may ask? JL After following the convo..and seeing this response. DOes this mean that the ONLY way the OP could get a refund in this situation is if he has a JL amp powering the woofer? Because the JL company owns the ONLY patent for proper amplifier design that should never be the cause in a subwoofer catching fire due to poorly filtered frequency? You may have followed the convo, but obviously did not read it. Go back an read it, then see if you still think this is a valid question.

Very nice! Is that the Gray Mica or Magnetic? They don't do the Red in the SE anymore, but I'm stuck buying used anyways.

You do realize the electrical field is a vast monster and elecrtonics and electrical systems are not one in the same.

Good luck finding one, and let us know what happens when that AC motor sees DC current.
