  1. I love chicken. I always marinate or rub, so I don't have an issue with no flavor. I only cook to 160, then let it rest.
  2. STOP!
  3. So do what you gotta do.
  4. Is that a SuperDuty?
  5. I like to isolate my amps, but it's not a necessity. While there is a load of pain there, I guarantee you have continuity to ground through those brackets. I highly doubt that to be the issue. The issue might be with your HU as well. Pioneer has has an issue the past several years with fused on the RCAs,
  6. Happy Father's Day to all you as well. Just got back from picking up a new heart for the truck.
  7. IT has ceased. No sooner did I see some crazy shit, it was over. Damn we need some RAIN.
  8. I just saw a tree get struck by lightning and two seconds later the fire department came flashing by. Crazy night tonight.
  9. The only issue is most if not all class D subwoofer amps are not full range, hence their being limited to sub duty.
  10. Don't worry about any ratio BS. Just build the enclosure. I will take a sealed enclosure over any other any day of the weak. People think vented is so much better and/or louder, but only at certain peaks and well, you need to read the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook.
  11. I looked at these types of "shoes" several months ago when they were first mentioned here and all the ones I found were around $100. Where the hell are you guys finding them half off?
  12. Ship it to Jersey.
  13. Too many types of fish to group it together. I love a lot of fish, but hate Salmon, Tuna, Mahi, and the like. I really enjoy the "lighter" whitefish.
  14. I'm assuming they are using gasoline of course.
  15. What EFI, what program, and need more specifics. From what I remember, VG30 in a Mazda Miata with an RX-8 rear diff. Using NIStune software on what looks to be a stock ECU. Single front mount turbonetics currently pushing 5 PSI and looking to up it to 11. I can get more, but that's all I remember. Yeah, I don't know shit about Nissan tuning. The Mazda is close enough to Ford I can get through it, but it's really all generic when you get down to it. If they are running rich now and the spark is strong, just throw more boost at it. They've got enough fuel, so add air.
  16. I'd start with moving your ground around. Using the same grounding points as other items can induce noise. Even a poorly crimpled terminal can cause an issue.
  17. Whats cookin? Tonight was pan roasted Halibut in a garlic lemon sauce with roasted tomatoes, kalamata olives, and a creamy gouda gratin with a cucumber salad on the side. Ate all that though. Not sure on breakfast. Perhaps some chocolate waffles as I have some bananas that are getting brown. Do you know of a way to open ones pallete to different foods? I try and try and try many different foods, but find myself just not liking them. There has to be a way to change that. I would love to sit down and enjoy a mean at your house, but 90% of the stuff you mention, I never eat, nor like, but when reading your posts, they sound so damn good.
  18. Which one? 200 or 400 because that is a huge gap and totally different price ranges. We need a budget as well as application. Why do you feel you need so much power?
  19. You don't need a filter for alt whine. You need to find the reason you are picking up alt whine and alleviate that. Filters do nothing other than add another possible point of interference. Ask yourself how many times you have seen a filter used for noise. I guarantee it will be less than a handful if so, they were used with lower end equipment in a less than ideal install.
  20. I think he's talking about the solo classics or the CVX, not any of the square drivers. As for the 8W7, go to your local dealer and get your hands on one. They are monsters and will likely not fit in the space you have available.
  21. You have a noise issue somewhere. I'd be willing to bet, the noise filter you bought is inducing the current issue. It's not related to turn on or off issues, this is a signal issue. Remove the noise filter, then find the true root of your alternator noise.
  22. Sean, Testors model enamel will hide the LEDs. I've used it before when lighting plexi.
  23. That's absurd. This time last year they were still $300. That's how much I bought and sold mine for.
  24. What EFI, what program, and need more specifics.
  25. Having used the second gen Solos many many times like this, I would go that route. They are cheap, accessible anywhere, and are proven performers.
