  1. OKay, I am looking for a 6 post pot with a push in on/off switch built in. How do I know what to buy?
  2. For anything above 4" I trim close to where needed, then make a couple plugs, install one on the known square end, fill with sand, install the other plug to a square line and roll it around a flush trim bit on the router table.
  3. It's like a nice surprise. Order them, don't pay attention to anything, then BAM, one day you got some subs. Personally I like that. It's like getting a present. Screw tracking and status updates.
  4. Man, there are hundreds of combinations available.
  5. Expect at least a month.
  6. Here's the BEST version.
  7. And If I ever need to kill my own food, I will do it with my own hands or other tool. I don't see the gun as sporting. Even the prey has to have an opportunity to secure it's life. One must play fair.
  8. I would have both the pistol and shotgun, so two birds are dead. If I need a machine gun, that means I am at war or channeling my inner Tony Montana, which I never will be. Now the tank would be cool, just to smash shit and blow shit up, which is fun, but if I needed to that, I would just use explosives.
  9. I only want a gun to have to kill someone. If they are that far away, I should have no need to shoot them. If I do, I am in the wrong country.
  10. This is an HEI. It has the coil embedded atop the distributor cap. I'm sure I don't need to go into it's positive attributes. http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance/809/88961867/10002/-1 A normal distributor will have a remote mount coil and a coil wire from the coil into the distributor cap. I would change the coil and wires myself. Does this have a separate fuel tank, or do you have removable marine tanks? Depending on storage, vapor lock could be an issue. It's unlikey, but if you have the tank just sitting in the hot sun. . . That red plastic just soaks up heat.
  11. Plug wires can act the same way. Shit is fine until it gets hot, then it's like a fucking switch turns on and tells everything to act stupid.
  12. Oh shit, it has a distributor? Does it have the GM HEI with the coil on top? If so, change the coil. I was going to say coil breakup, but I figured being as new as it was and being injected, it would have EDIS (electronic distributor-less ignition system). Like you don't know WTF I'm talking about. What a night.
  13. What does it use for engine management and does it have a radiator and coolant or just use lake water? Just lake water. Engine management is a MEFI (Marine) but I think it's just a potted standard GM EFI unit. Vortec 350 pretty much circa 2004. I don't know anything about marine coding or requirements, so I doubt I could. A simple temp change can alter the entire map. Does it have any temp sensors or emmissions equipment on it?
  14. Soundstream has changed hands but they are very good about supporting ALL their products. That's one quality that never left them.
  15. Read the rules to the classifieds section and it will quickly become apparent.
  16. What does it use for engine management and does it have a radiator and coolant or just use lake water?
  17. Is it gluten-free?
  18. If it were directed towards you, I would be inclined to think you more steer than queer. You're a big hunk o'beef.
  19. Has anyone resolved anything with this guy?
  20. They are and they DO.
  21. Man, I gotta go take a huge Kristian.
  22. NAK has turned into shit. Last I heard, they are no more anyways. I'm sure you have some contacts who are in the know.
  23. I had a fleet of 20 yr old monster cable that had a bad RCA on one end or the other. I saved them thinking some day I'd need scrap and sure enough had four scraps which was enough for 8 cables. Nice in that they were dual conductor + shield so that I didn't have to try and solder the shield as a lead. I expect no noise...at least until the depth finder is on. I tested it briefly without the LD and the miniDSP works. Sounds so much fucking better than the shit that was in there. Still sounds like the sub amp has some bass processing of some sort on, but that wouldn't surprise me since the 4 chn amp up front is also acting funny. Polk D4000 on the way... Did you get the amps figured out? i've read that quite a few of these amps showing up now. http://www.diymobile...pi-phantom.html 15 percent off that nvx seems to still be working. brings it down to 195 Gotta laugh at that place. Every time those guys come across a "deal" it turns into a fad. "These seem to be just rebadged XXXs or YYYs so they must perform just the same." Yet when you make a thread comparing equipment that isn't so much a deal that still appear to be as similar as the other "deals," they are dismissed as lower quality copy cats.
  24. Since selling my resistance unit, I have only two guns now. It makes things quite difficult, but I just can't seem to find a used station for a decent price. People think they are gold.
