  1. Yay for finding Snap-on on Amazon!
  2. Would love for this head ache to go away.
  3. Actually running them isobarically requires 1/4 the power and IIRC 1/2 the enclosure size to achieve the same output. Is not the idea being the iso to use the second driver for control to make a smaller enclosure work? I've never seen an instance where efficiency is increased, especially to the point where you need 1/4 the power. You've decreased enclosure size, and added a driver, so if anything, efficiency is increased and more power is needed.
  4. And the same thing could have been accomplished with one driver versus two.
  5. I'm still using the MT2500. Love it. I could use a bit more data, but they still support it, and I don't use it enough to warrant all the features of a new unit.
  6. Sounds like someone needs a gut check. Do what you gotta do Jon, and take care of yourself first, because without you, there is nothing.
  7. Those amps were made to reproduce perfect sound ... Sound Quality machines !!! Class A/B amps back then never was required to draw enough current to need such large cables ... Back then, they cared about what sounded the absolute best ... Actually they were all current hogs, but the connectors just simply were not available. I recall seeing competitors in the early 90s with multiple runs of 4ga to the batts. They sure did seem to sound better though. I think its just nostalgia. I miss the pure gain blocks and big heat sinks.
  8. DO they fuse you guys at the pole out there?
  9. Is Back to BOOM!
  10. Fucking nice!
  11. Need some 4 ga? I have a 100' roll I'll sell for $1/ft. Must buy whole roll. How about 5.5' for 4.50 man? I'm on a budget bro. http://www.ebay.com/...20gauge&_sop=15 I have some good Phoenix Gold cable, not that chinese shit.

  13. You're making this difficult. Put ring terminals on the ends, bolt them together, then wrap in spicing tape followed by electrical tape and you're good to go, or you could forgo the terminals and just use a split bolt.
  14. I have no idea why they are still around.
  15. I speak south side Boston translation: 'The Hopper is full, we need to empty it" My mothers side is 1/2 NY, 1/2 Boston, so I can translate fairly well. They must be Mets fans.
  16. No way to do this easily....unless you spend a SHIT ton of cash. One option CAN make this easier, it's mono Wasn't the point of the minidsp to make it cheap? Cheap with future flexibility. And yes, it's pissing me off. A $10 pot would be fine, but $50. FUCK. Right. I spent $25 on a $70 flashlight only to turn around and spend $40 on a battery and charger.

  18. You always go overboard and make shit so much harder than it has to be.
  19. UPS is retarded.
  20. All the moonshine I've ever had has been very hard and burned to no end.
  21. I doubt it. As busy as they are, I'd expect no less than 1 month.
  22. You need a penny? I could supply you with one everyday for the rest of your life.
  23. Let me know what you think of it. I've been waiting for the PS8 for a while, but I assume that will be over $800.
  24. Who makes the miniDSP?
