  1. I cannot reply to a PM. The reply box is about one line high and when I click there to type, it does nothing.
  2. The past two days I have awoken to SNOW even thought it has been well above freezing. I wake up this morning and it's 27 and raining, WTF?
  3. Fuck that.
  4. Not sad at all, wasn't even fun to laugh at. Complete tool with TERRIBLE ideas. Stupid noobs had a hard time seeing beyond it as well. Talk about misplacing and misusing information. WE have severel noobs who think they know way more than they do.

Instead of videos showing sheet metal flex from a car, he posted videos of his house falling apart. Need I say more? And he braced his walls/ceilings with 2x4's Considering they are constructed of 2x4s, I can think of not many better materials to use.
  6. Dude, you've been a member for 2 weeks. . .
  7. So by one post he's just like the guy? Then people go and misinform him.
  8. It will work fine. Won't be ideal, but will work. YOu'd be better off spending your money on something that better fits your goals, or get the driver cheap and sell it for more money. There is nothing that says you can only use an IB driver in IB, likewise with enclosed woofers. I've used several "normal" woofers in IB. It wasn't the best for performance, but it worked fine.
  9. A few years ago I bought some cheapo wire strippers from them, and I've used them quite a bit over the years and I'm thoroughly impressed for the price. The yellow handled Ideals?
  10. The same arrangement as the prior icon with the convex cap. Yay for boobs!
  11. The issues stem comes from many sources. Some people could have only one, others (like me) have many. Off the top of my head I can think of three things. 1.) Slow connection2.) Old computer3.) Firefox/Java issues. Oracle is not pushing Java updates quickly enough to keep up with the Firefox rapid release schedule (new version every 6 weeks) and so users Firefox 5, 6, 7, or 8 usually have more Java related issues. Firefox versions 9 and up supposedly "fixed" this issue and for the most part I haven't had issues (running 10.0.1 currently). The fact of the matter is that Java is a bloated mess and for users with slow connections and/or older hardware browsing the forums is much faster with Java disabled. However, there is no way to disable Java on a site by site basis with Firefox; it's all or none. Using an extension like NoScript allows you to disable Java on a site by site basis which is preferred because countless web designers make sites that are completely dependent on Java; you can't even access the site without Java enabled. Again, apparently my sarcasm was not read.
  12. Thanks guys! I had a dream I was given and Enzo. I'd rather have a 458, but it was a good dream.
  13. Sounds like an RCA shorting.
  14. I have ZERO issues with the board update. I think the issues are user-error.

  16. NOt good.
  17. Deflection is FREAKING AWESOME! Thanks Mark!
  18. I have heard the three-way and liked it. I am assuming these are the three-ways? I suggest building some pods though for peak performance.
  19. I'd love to meet the writers of that show.
  20. If you take a sub out of it's enclosure and throw 2-3 times the recommended power at it, what is going to happen? Same thing is happening here. You should be been able to hear the drivers stressing LONG before they blew, Well, that's assuming they didn't just pop right away, and with that much power, I am not surprised they did. What surprises me the most is that they did not have a fuse on the crossover. I'm guessing the tweets have protection, but not the woofers,. EIther way, you have a choice to make. Either cut the power by 75%, or change the application.
  21. How are they installed though? Did they just remove stock speakers and screw them into the door? To handle that kind of power, you will need a proper enclosure for the woofer, and I guarantee you, NO small format tweeter is going to handle that unless the crossover is dissipating power. YOu need to fix the problem before you buy new drivers.
  22. Apparently I am the only motherfucker up at 2AM?
  23. With that power, you are likely to burn up everything on the market. How are they currently installed? That is the big question.
  24. MEdicine has me FUCKED UP.
