  1. Ryan, thank you for posting that. It actually opened my eyes to how I have become accustomed to shady business.
  2. This is the reason you often hear "bigger is better." Rigging is complex and very few recovery drivers are proper riggers. They can pull something well, but lifting is an entirely different world.
  3. Welcome to the forum. I could find no mention of the frequency response of the Pioneer. Very odd. There could be a number of issues here. First, your signal you tapped into for your RCAs could be filtered and not passing the lower frequencies. Your RCA adapter could be suspect. Cheaper ones usually don't work too well and given the amplifier on the Pioneer has speaker level inputs, you'd be best off using those. It's just one less thing to go wrong. You could also have the crossover on the Pioneer set incorrectly, a cancellation issue, or it just simply may not dig that low. I'd start by checking the filter on the amp and adjusting it all the way to the right. See what happens. If that does nothing, I'd move the tube around to rule out cancellation issues, if that doesn't work, remove the adapter. You see where I'm going with this?
  4. 5 shots and I'm good. She's got multiple holes, very little body fat, and when everything's spinning, you can't tell how their face looks anyways.
  5. So you got the RM huh Brad?
  6. Yep. I believe it's a diesel. It has a battery bank underneath the car, and a steel subwoofer enclosure flush with the cargo area floor. Yeah, I was being a dick. I hate it when people refer to an ENGINE as a MOTOR, and Jon stated how he was having some fun time with Jager, so I figured I'd poke at him a bit.
  7. Aaron just because I am umemployed right know doesnt give Tirefyre the right to say I am broke. I speak the truth and unfortunately, you can't quite understand what I typed. You took one word I typed and that was the only thing you gathered from my post. Many times in this thread, and many others, you've proven your inability to comprehend what is typed, or you let your emotion get involved and just take it in a totally different direction. If you don't want someone to comment on your being unemployed, do not post it. It's simple as that. You opened the door and I merely walked in. Just as you have the right to type anything you want, I have the right to comment on it. I expect the same in any thread or post I make. It is common sense, but alas this is a virtue any more, not an instinct. All I was trying to get out of this thread is what another member is doing to it.Sorry for all the trouble. This is the point I am trying to make. If that's what you wanted to know, ASK THAT, and give us THAT information. See what I mean here? We all could have avoided all this had you provided more information (and left out the unnecessary) and asked the specifics that you wanted to know. Now, with all that out of the way, the BEST thing about SSA is we can all have discussions like this and don't end up like a bunch of idiots. We all may call each other names or piss each other off, but in the end, I think everyone comes to an understanding and we set our differences aside and come to a working conclusion. I don't see that on any other forums.
  8. Correct. Actually, I am not affiliated with anyone, nor do I have anything to do with anyone but myself. MY comments reflect my views and only my views. They are not posted to reflect anything but my opinion. Exactly. The lack of information is the key. This is always the problem and when you ask people for more information or what they are trying to accomplish, they often get sandy as if you are questioning their machismo. I believe the part number I gave should have been sufficent? No. You asked a blanket question and left it open to interpretation. You want people to put forth the effort to answer your question appropriately then put the work into forming a proper post with all the information. Your question was, "Is a kicker kx3 a good crossover to use?" If people had simply answered YES or NO, what good is that? It doesn't tell anyone anything. People were trying to help. That is the reason we all posted in the first place. The problem is every one reads posts differently and reacts to them differently. It's as simple as that.

  10. It's an electric car?
  11. What's a Beamer?
  12. Nick, check your PMs.
  13. Personally, I have no idea. I use BassBox to model vent mach and get what I need to keep it below 18m/sec and that's all I have ever needed. I am a low power guy, so it doesn't take much for me.
  14. If it works, it's enough. Most of us are not into SPL and don't need all that vent. Hell, most of us don't even use subs.

Should run mid 12s. It's not exactly light.
  16. I'm 12,077.
  17. I'm going to call you Corky.
  18. Yeah that too. Of course someone can say were missing the porsche and lambo. Porsche looks pretty much just like every 911 ever made. Lambo hasn't changed much in 10 years, so, meh. The Subaru just looks odd to me. It's reminiscent of a smushed TVR. Love the S60R.
  19. The problem with most of these units is the user has really no idea what to do. You need to understand what you are trying to accomplish and how to go about it properly before doing it. If you are asking on the forum, you shouldn't be. You should be reading information, then working towards the goal, then asking for help if lost. It also helps to not be broke. If you want to do something, do it right. If you can't afford to do it properly, wait until you can. If you are unemployed, quit looking at buying audio equipment.
  20. I've fucked 3 virgins and none ever bled. With all the shit they stick up there anyways, they're virginity is most likely gone long before actual intercourse.
  21. Um . . .
  22. It really doesn't even do that... the real responses aren't like the graphs at all when we measured them. These days I don't use a box program for anything more than calculating port tuning as they are so often separated by a big margin from what really happens. not bashing or anything, but if you dont see the graph, how do you figure what tune you want? do you base it on the music you listen to, how low you wanna get, or spl? In reality when tuning an enclosure, you should take the acoustical properties of the vehicle and sub/port placement into consideration. . . . But in reality, who has the equipment and know-how to accomplish this? Very few.
  23. Anyone have any CES photos?
  24. Looked like Jessica Alba at first.
  25. You can use it, but nothing will stick to it so you will have to use mechanical fastening.
