  1. We have direct flights via Alegant Air to Orlando for $99 one way. My boss just flew down there last week for $250 there and back.
  2. A FUCKING MEN!
  3. You're making cooling towers for amplifiers?
  4. Make sure you have a nice coat ( or better yet, several) of wax on. This stuff still contains solvents that can and will destroy your finish.
  5. I'll take the simplicity, stability, and quality of the RCA over bluetooth or any other wireless technology any day.
  6. The part should be available at your local auto parts store or dealership.
  7. Bye Bye Peyton Manning, hello Andrew Suck.
  8. I don't think they don't understand it, rather just don't know the numbers.
  9. That comparison can be used for any manufacturer. Exactly, but not all have triple digit percentage mark up's. Crescendo has triple digit percentage marks ups? I have owned Crescendo products. I have also delt with their customer service. From my experience their products perform as intended and when I needed contact customer support thier response was timely and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about Crescendo products or Crescendoas a company. This isnt based hersay or speculation but rather from my experience. When you get in the industry, you know what other people pay for things. As is common knowledge, the chinese products are FAR cheaper than the States, and yes, some of their products yield triple digit markups. Now, they may have more overhead or other things to pay for, hence their pricing structure, but they are still paying less. You would be surprised to see the build cost on some products. Amplifiers and speakers can easily be built for under $20 and sold for hundreds. It's the way of the world. I spent a while building alternators and if you know how much you could build your own alt for, you would NEVER give your money to any manufacturer.
  10. like bazooka did in the 90's? It was PPI in the 90s and Bazooka in the 2000s. They had little plugs that screwed into the ass end of the subs too.
  11. New and unique means expensive and people are cheap bastards. They won't sell. Simple as that. Why make something that only a few people want (niche) unless you have a bunch of money to blow? Now with that out of the way, there is absolutely NO need for anything unique in the amplifier world. How about a standalone processor cheap enough for the masses so we can get back to pure gain blocks and none of the other BS with amps now. Keep the processing in the processors and the amplification in the amplifiers.
  12. You are so wise.
  13. I wasn't looking at them specifically because they used neo. Depth will play some part in my choice, and the relatively slim neo motor may prove to be easier to fit on my dash. But neo or not neo isn't any concern for me. I know, but that is the issue with their price.
  14. Bah, Neo. No point. It's only performance advantage is less weight, but it costs more even with less material. What's the point?
  15. I don't get it. He wasn't trying to sell anything. He simply stated they are available and the prices. How is this any different from listing a deal on gear at Best Buy or WoofersEtc, or Ebay?
  16. Because they make use of carbon fiber material for the cone, and have shiny phase plugs? I know a secret about the "carbon fiber."
  17. You're going to have to buy from a private seller to get anything decent with that amount of money. I would look for something you see driven by older people. They tend to drive less and take better care of their vehicles. Be careful though as some may not be maintained at all. It's really all about common sense and you're taking a good measure by taking it to a mechanic first. That's what I was thinking. Also I wanted to look for a car that had fairly cheap/accessible parts and a car that's reliable too. I'm not Pro american or Pro foreign.. just looking or something that'll do well for a few years. The cheapest route is to pick a fleet vehicle. Parts will be abundant and cheap and so mundane that insurance will be negligible as well. Look for the Ford Taurus, Focus, Crown Vic, Ranger, Chevy Impala, Pontiac Grand Prix, etc. If you get a GM, stick with something with a V8 or the 3800.

  19. Let's see. Again we have a mediocre QB versus a mediocre defense and a great QB versus a great defense.
  20. People throwing stones living in glass houses. . .
  21. Might not be. Might be tar from the roof or insulation, sewage from a vent, etc. . .
  22. Chances are it was the transformer. Many small transformers such as in lighting ballasts and smoke alarms are encased in a semi-solid oil for cooling (these would be very old), or epoxy for vibration and shielding. When they short out, they melt the liquid or epoxy and it oozes out. It also amplifies the foul odor of burnt wire.

As has been posted, we need the pics with the paper or we'll have to close it. Thanks!
  24. Somehow, I got glutened. This is going to be a long Sunday.
