Dumax/Klippel for SSA Zcon
This is more relevant to the signal being fed to the woofer. It's essentially useless just as the distortion rating for amplifiers.

My parent's neighbor has one. He starts it up every couple months, drives it out of the barn, then drives it right back in. He also builds engines for a GT40 kit car builder.

I had two of the four channels and they were slightlly under-rated. I would expect that one to be north of 500 bridged. I really liked those amps, but they were quite large for their power output. I like big heat sinks though and actually prefer them to small amps. So for 99.99 it is well worth it then and it should make those JLs happy? Definitely!

I wouldn't worry about it to much. I would be amazed if they rusted through in the lifetime of the car. Agreed but it seems like every site I looked at today has been swearing that header wrap is the worst thing since Cancer. J I used it on my LTs on my Cobra and never had any issues. They're still on there too, although they were SS so that helps. I wouldn't worry about rust. I am sorry for the lack of knowledge but what do you mean by LTs and SS? J Long Tubes and Stainless Steel.

Your problem is their location. Every 3rd gen I've ever been in has been notorious for hot feet.

Securing box?
Bolts with metal plates as washers to spread the load. Really, if the impact is severe enough, nothing is going to save you, but I like your thinking.
