I was at my dad's yard all day pulling an engine and they had 11, 2008 Dodge Ram work trucks lined up along a fence. I asked him what was wrong with them as they all looked brand new. He told me they were all lemons and have to be destroyed by court order. Apparently, each one has had it's entire drivetrain replaced at least 3 times, and every truck has less than 10K miles.

Expect to pay at least $20K for something you can drive.

I could be misreading so correct me if I'm wrong, but are you the kind of person that forces your child to win and be the best in what he chooses to play? Or are you simply saying "I'm not going to reward him when he hasn't accomplished any goals" ? Wow, I don't know how you got the first part by reading that, but minds work differently. I was stating that I will not reward him for failing. I don't see how people can find that okay. I will NOT punish him for it either, that's just asinine. Failure is a part of life and a necessary tool for success. Like I typed above, if he is on a sports team in which, "nobody loses," or "we don't keep score," yeah, I'll keep score and let him know they didn't win. I didn't watch the video and I won't. I got many ass whoopins as a child and while it did not deter me from doing bad things, it definitely made me think twice. I have smacked my son's ass several times, but I've found sticking him in the corner with his face in it works much better. You get experts who say don't do that because it humiliates them.
