  1. I've seen this before. It scares the shit out of me. It's funny though, I have climbed many tall trees and a couple cell phone towers and never had a problem climbing them, yet when I go up stairs or an elevator and look down, it freaks me out. Coasters are the worst because you're just sitting there watching for what seems like an eternity as the ground gets further and further away. The worst was the American Eagle at six flags. The last time I went there, they had it reversed, so instead of being able to look up the sky, you were forced to look at the ground the entire hill ride.
  2. I loved it up until that point. I am terrified of heights and I can not stand those damn chain rides to the top of a hill. Now, if you shoot me up and over, or start it at the top, it's all good. Hell, I even freak out climbing the open cased stairs to get up to the launch platform on some rides.

Dude, seriously, don't make 3 different threads with the same damn video.
  4. I know you know better. I was just trying to make a poitn for others who may read it and wonder if the silver audiophile golden ears bullshit is real.
  5. whirlpool tub works just as good I have one in the bathroom. I am however 6'2 375 and my shoulders are wider than the tub.... Is this a typo? You always said you were big, but damn, 375. That's Pro football material there. I picture a foot shorter Shaq.
  6. Problem is, if you believe in the BS, you can't just stop at the cable. You're going to waste your money on the cable, only to use a cheap jack, or plug into a cheap jack with cheap solder, etc. . . It's really NOT worth the time nor money. Ask yourself if the experiment is worth wasting a couple hundred dollars that won't make your tunes sound a couple hundred bucks better.
  7. I like hot tubs, but this past week it's been like walking into a giant oven every time I go outside. Hell, I don't think my condensing unit has shut off for more than 10 minutes in 4 days.
  8. You are correct, but he asked about a bass boost control. Just don't use it. Stick with your EQ. It works the same way as the remote gain mentioned above though.
  9. I hope this one works out better for you J. X2!! Seems you have been through a nightmare!!! Hope this truck is the turn-around from that! Thanks guys a brand new truck (had 13 miles on it when I test drove it the day before yesterday) shouldn't have issues. If it does I have the extended warranty. J Congrats and good luck ! What did you end up getting ? Since the monsoon is killing my ability to get pictures (damn me for doing other shit on lunch) its a 2011 Toyota Tundra quad cab. Not the biggest they offer but its damn roomy. 5.7L V8 auto tranny, 4x4 with the TRD package and backup camera. No navigation. J Nice. The Tundras are pretty good trucks. They copied a good design.
  10. I have always been told never to send a resume from a free email account.
  11. OT, but every time I see you post, I think of the movie Idiocracy. BTW, Adrian is awesome!
  12. Correct and it's not all the subs or all their parts. The ONLY amps 100% made in the USA are the Zapco C2K series.
  13. I've never had success trapping them. Even when I did and relocated them, more would come back. Like you, I had to bait and shoot, but I always used leftover old pizza.
  14. I've used Bridgestone Blizzaks and General Altimax with great results.
  15. MY old '88 GMC went through two engines, a trans, and 228,000 miles before I had to put a fuel pump in it. I think it was the only original thing on the truck, and that sumummabitch waa a paint in the ass. Sending unit was pretty much corroded into the tank. I've not seen any manufacturers using the LS engines in Marine yet.
  16. Throw some in there simply for psycho-acoustics. It's worked for many SQ competitors.
  17. I think he plans on keeping the Mustang and using the YUK as a winter beater. I did this for many years, and one of my beater's was a Mustang. Now, if you had trouble driving a Mustang in the winter, it's simply because you did not have the right tires on it. Granted, it won't plow through drifts unplowed roads with half a foot of snow, but the key is tires. Performance tires in the snow are akin to slicks in the rain. All-season tires aren't really all-season either. Go to the Tire Rack's website or youtube and watch some videos of comparisons with cars on winter tires. You'll be amazed. Now, I happen to love the idea of having a winter beater, but I only like it simply for the fact that I don't care about it. If something happens to it, so what, it's a beater.
  18. Buy some snow tires. I drove a Mustang in the winter for many years. It's pretty easy.
  19. You have a leak, a loose panel, or vibrating wire. If you remove the sub and play it with no noise, it's not the driver, it's the enclosure or something in it.
  20. I don't understand why my speaker blew. I know it's 1000rms, but my amp only puts out 1500 max, so the speaker should handle twice the RMS and besides I only had the gain halfway up. Why is it not warrantied?
  21. That's fucking awesome! Wish I could find the time and money to do that.
  22. Never said there was something wrong with it, just isn't recorded by musicians and therefore isn't music. Music is not recorded by musicians either. It's recorded by sound engineers.
  23. All good pads will have high carbon content and lots of dust. It's just a nuisance of high performance braking. You can of course change to ceramic pads and never have to worry about dust, but you'll also be sacrificing the braking performance.
  24. You state the sub is working, then state you're dying without your sub. Which is it? First thing, check your fuses.
  25. Here comes my 3 o'clock headache.
