First it was the size of the sub, then the size of the amp, then the Xmax wars, now the power wars. People are stupid. I honestly don't know how you do it Aaron. When I was with SI, the stupid customer base was just incredible, and then you add in all the soap opera bullshit of the industry and deal with the "professionals" and it just magnifies the pressure.

No he doesn't. Unless you really want the new amp, do not bother. You will never hear that increase.

The older stuff is good, the newer stuff is hit or miss.

Same idea as any extreme concept car that'll never sell. How many Pontiac guys bought Trans-Am's and Firebirds when they saw the Banshee?(If anybody remembers that...I'm a Pontiac-head lol) MY first glimpse of that car was the Detroit auto show. I was 8 or 9 at the time. Then it was on a NightRider TV movie as a new K.I.T.T. When you look at the thing, a lot of people bought them. IIRC, 75% of the car was part of the 4th gen F-body, including the nose on the 'Birds and the swooping quarters. Of course I don't know how many actually saw the concept car.

It's a helmet mohawk, but only visible when the wind is blowing. It's a visual indicator if you ever have to chase after your child.

I'm rather surprised; I was sure Aidan would be over 4' by now. He appears to be only a few inches shorter than Gavin. I need to find one of those little buggies to tow behind me, although Gavin prefers to pedal versus just riding.

You guys do realize that these types of subs are nothing more than marketing ploys. They didn't make the sub for SPL comps or to get loud. It's simply to attract attention. As for the Jackhammer, that's a totally different animal. It actually performs okay for what it is. If it was 1/4 of what it costs, you would see them quite often.

I don't know of any shops, sorry. Personally, I think it's waste of money. You're looking at anywhere from $65-$100+/hr. just for labor. Add materials into that and, if done properly, you're easily into it for at least a grand probably more. So you're just dumping more and more money into it, hence the reason I suggested a better platform.

And this is why you do NOT want to deal with this shop. I wise engineer or even mechanic would go out of the way to PREVENT the problem. They understand the chassis and suspension design and metallurgy. They understand the weight and the forces it induces, so they KNOW where to brace and how to build BEFORE it breaks. A good shop would never tell you to take pictures, they would take the car, put it up on a lift, get it on scales and plan out what needs to be done.

No need to bump, simple as that. As for tint, Google is your friend and I have some 3M tint from 20 years ago that is still like new. Even the cheap tint won't fade, it's just the chemicals from cleaning your windows and the constant heat and cold cycles that are the demise of the tint.

Playstation network is finally back up, and I do a system update and now my shit fucks up and stops loading games 5 minutes into playing them. I can tell when it's going to happen because I suddenly lose sound aside from background music, and then it just stops or freezes.

I can see using a drug, but that is just beyond reality.
