WE all know Ant is a douche, and only for that reason am I allowing this to stay open. We do not, however, tolerate inter-forum bullshit, so please leave stuff from other forums at the other forums.

    What the fuck is this?
  5. You need a respirator with a charcoal filter. The dust mask is doing nothing for you.

I know this is way off topic, but you are so wrong I had to say something. There were never spec engines in Cup racing. Smaller NASCAR series such as ARCA have used spec engines, and as of late it has been the LS series of Chevy engines. As far as the big block heads on a small block, that's the same as taking an 18" cone and putting it in a 10" basket. Doesn't work on subs, doesn't work on engines. The Boss 302 was nothing more than a typical Ford Small Block with the Cleveland style (4V) CANTED VALVE heads. That's it. They still use the canted valve arrangement today, but everything is specifically built for NASCAR. The only things the actual manufacturers design and manufacture are the blocks and they are designed with the teams, so basically, they tell them what they want, the engineers work it out, cast prototypes and they go from there. Cylinder heads are team specific and made either by them or for them.
  7. I think he posted that before reading your post and found it funny you both recommended them.
  8. Does anyone here have a Netflix subscription?
  9. Yeah, I am going to go get some Xanax from my mommy today. That always works for a day or two for me.
  10. Rest assured, you're the exception, not the rule! You have to realize the online community is but a miniscule percentage of business. There could be literally thousands of DC customers who never never get on a forum who have had nothing but positive experiences. You also have to remember that one is more likely to make a post when they are upset or things don't go to plan, yet when something is fine and all goes well, you rarely see it mentioned.
  11. I used to be that way and then I lost all control. I think my latest shit is all mental though. The slightest twitch and I immediately think the worst. I need to get some pills.
  12. Good God cell phone plans are ridiculous!
  13. Seriously. . . You should try it some time. She'll lick it clean and blow it dry.
  14. Honestly I couldn't care less about the subjective reviews that will be posted. Far more interested in the T/S parameters and other objective measurements you have, such as an FR graph How long is the presale going to be open for? My sentiments exactly. I have been waiting for these for a while, but I can not justify pulling the trigger without some data.
  15. I only use the best products to wipe my ass. It just so happens, my ex girlfriend's face is the best thing in the world to wipe your ass with.
  16. IT's really going to depend on the driver and application, but if you are using just a "normal" midrange, I would venture to say you will definitely need a tweet. With a driver designed for full range, you may not, but if you do, follow the above advice. The automotive environment is so hit or miss, and most people plan and tune while sitting still. Once you are moving, you lose so much information you may find half your system is useless. That's an extreme case of course.
  17. You know the drill. It depends.... Yes I know, but I don't really know what else to mention. The vehicle is a Toyota 4Runner second generation(Surf in the USA?). [23:49:37] Dolha Adrian: just tell him you want a fullrange speaker I want a full range speaker, Sean. You might not need a tweet. Try it without and see what you think. If you find yourself needing one, I would suggest a simply small dome, nothing fancy will be needed since it will be the top of the spectrum and such a narrow bandwidth.
  18. Damn, good deal. There going out of business, probably why. At least the ultimate E in my town is... Yeah pretty preference based... I put some coaxial 6x9 focals in my fathers truck with new hu and amp, big improvement over factory, I think it's a good assumption if I liked those then I'll enjoy these. With Focal I wouldn't call that a good assumption. They don't sound alike from cheaper to more expensive lines, more so than other brands. I've never heard a Focal mid I liked. They have some wonderful tweets, but I've not been one for their mids. Funny you should say that, I'd pick on their tweeters and not the mids although I am not really a fan of either. Actually probably their crossovers and balancing really, the tweeters might lay down when dealt with right. I've never used a Focal passive so I have no idea about their networks.
  19. Unless you are using the wire in a vacuum, it will always be exposed to oxygen. The tinning can help, but is not necessary. Non-ferrous metals are particularly prone to corroding especially when in contact with dissimilar metals. Take a piece of copper or aluminum and lay a piece of steel on it overnight. Check it out in the morning and tell me what you find. Now, there are instances where this won't happen, but we don't have the time or space to get into metallurgy here. Just buy some welding wire, or a decent brand name car audio wire and be done with it. If others want to waste their money on special wire, just let them. Left Center Right. DUH! Seriously though, how many people do we see buying capacitors and have know idea what ESR is?

  21. That's what we're talking about tool. If we needed to delve any further, I would bust out my knowledge. Thanks for making me feel like a dumb ass. I am going to call my mommy on you.
  22. Something you never have enough of You've never ridden in an over-powered street car?
  23. They are multiplying exponentially. I fell Mother Nature getting ready to purge.
  24. Pick one and use it and you will be fine. There is no magic wire, nothing special about anything. You get people who will swear on one versus another. You will not have an issue with any of it. If you do, it's due to misuse or abuse.
  25. I started to feel good and made some food and got a glass of milk. Two drinks and two bites later and my stomach is in knots again.
