  1. would take some work to convert to RWD, but it would be worth it FWD ftmfl New SHO. It's AWD son! Still transversely mounted and the Haldex system is FWD biased. Hell, it moves enough with the 3.5, just turn up the boost, add some more fuel and spark and away you go.
  2. Ford is very open with their tuning to the aftermarket, so it shouldn't be too hard for experienced tuners. As for the compression, I don't know what it is on the 6.2, but don't let compression scare you when it comes to boost. It's simple to control with enough fuel and octane and/or meth.
  3. Or just a KR all pimped out with the 6.2(so long as it's the exact same engine and not cheeper parts). It's not as cool as the raptor but cheeper and faster on blacktop. Shit, last time I saw a KR on the dealer lot it was $72K! All that for some badging and special cow hides?
  4. Too bad its from Hennessey Titties!
  5. Fuck that, it's all Beatles or no Beatles.
  6. I saw those roots when cleaning the sway-bar... Time to search for handheld blasters locally and search for a compressor too I don't know what you have access to over there, but over here, you can get handheld units with built-in compressors for around $30. It may only last a few sessions, but for $30, one can hardly complain.
  7. Damn Nick, either you are tall or that Camaro is slammed. God I love first gen Camaros!
  8. No need to delete, no hard feelings, no ill will. It is what it is Just stay around and contribute and we'll be more than happy to help you out with anything, including selling your gear.
  9. Do as you please, but I can promise you that no matter how many posts you have, when you blatantly come to a forum and state that your intention is simply to sell your gear, it will not fly. So you can go about and post as much as you'd like, but you will still be monitored and will have no privileges in the classified area for quite some time.
  10. You should be able to find a sealer at any auto parts store. It's basically just a thick primer that etches the metal as well. You may get the rust off the surface just sanding or grinding, but there will still be residue and "roots" below that. The blasters can be had for about $30 and you will find a ton of uses for them. Aside from cutting the metal out or using a rust converter, it's the only sure way to remove the rust.
  11. For cheap and easy, but done correctly (for the money), get a small portable or handheld blaster and remove the rust that way, with aluminum oxide or glass bead, clean, apply filler, sand, seal, prime, paint.
  12. Metric system?
  13. How about just making a vehicle that doesn't need serviced every three months?
  14. MAchined face with painted holes? Send me actual pics of your damage.
  15. Do not use filler unless it's a metal filler ( Metal 2 Metal or Lab Metal) and even then it's hit or miss. It really depends on how bad they are and how they are made. If they are forged, you are pretty much screwed. If they're cast, they can be filled (welded) and ground/sanded to smooth again, then painted, machined, polished, chromed, whatever, and it's a permanent and safe repair.
  16. Wax them every month or so and all you have to do is clean them with normal car wash. Make sure you put several coats on the first time though. Brake dust and road grim will eat through 1 or 2 coats in no time.
  17. I'm not a fan of the huge wheels these days, but that car looks good. It's a simple design and clean, so it works.
  18. No, it won't.
  19. That's easy. You can sell the original Shelby and buy a new one along with a nice house and garage to store it in and still have money left over for fuel, insurance and maintenance on both the house and car.
  20. Depends on the application.
  21. Where have you been for the past 10 + years?
  22. Fuck ME
  23. Wow, I've never met anyone who actually liked an Edsel.
  24. They may be, but the 1/4 mile is no indication of speed, rather quickness. The McLaren F1 will murder a Veyron in the 1/4, but just slightly past that, the Veyron takes over and it wins the speed war.
  25. They're not fast. They may have 300HP, but that doesn't mean it's fast. The turbo 4 is even worse. They are nice, "sporty" cars, but not fast.
