  1. Looks like a European interpretation of the early Dodge Vipers. It was in the design stages for over 10 years, so it could be, or it could have been copied. Priceless vehicles though. They were virtually impossible to get. Only a handful have been made.
  2. Just PM Shizzon. He knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING without knowing ANYTHING.
  3. WITH TURBOZ! 500+ HP in a 3,000 lb. car ain't enough? You're a little shy on the weight there.
  4. Gel coat should buff just like paint. You're screwed on the aluminum. Best you can do is clean with a mild acid to remove the oxidation, then polish and wax. No way to remove the pitting without filling. If it's really bad, you could use some bondo then paint it. Pitting isn't the biggest problem with the aluminum, it is covered with deposits. Regrettably it is an extrusion though so it isn't smooth. Polish and waxing won't be fun. Don't know what the deposits are, so I can't help you on removing them. Perhaps a power washer? The rest will apply though. Personally, I'd clean it, then paint it. Hell of a lot less elbow grease. Get some hammered metal Rustoleum. It dries to a very hard enamel and hides quite a bit of imperfections. I love the stuff.
  5. WD40 or simple bug and tar remover.

  7. The ONLY thing he's ever been good at is inconsistency.
  8. Cheap Chinese junk.
  9. I want to bear its children.
  10. You know what's fucked up? Lawyers won't allow this shit to happen in the US. This is just freaking incredible! YouTube - Cadillac V Day in Shanghai
  11. So shiney Indeed. Boost. There is no question ! Fixored. FInally something I can agree with you on.
  12. On my expedition. I can datalog(with some of the software and a laptop I can read almost anything PCM, GEM and ODBII) and pull codes and understand missfire issues and learn about how the A/F mix is working(with the LC-1 WBO2). It should help get 1-2 more MPG also. They are giving away 3 "custom" tunes for free. I will probably end up with a 2011+ gt though. The wife has given me the go, just need to wait untill I can find one gently loved. It will have the power it will have the style, and actually might be comfy. I've given up on quick sedans, and thogh I love the previous style M3 in looks and in platform, I can only see myself having problems with it, and not being able to fix them. With the Pony car if I don't like something... someone will make a part. I can make it pure muscle and grunt, or make it an autocross champ. Or go drifting! Go sit in the car first. While they are physically bigger cars, the interiors are TIGHT. I have more space and comfort in my car than in my Dad's '08. He prefers driving my car also, but that could be the boost and brakes.
  13. Who am I kidding? That's fucking gorgeous!!!!!
  14. No, it's not. It's ANCIENT technology.
  15. OEM is the best. The others available are nothing more than OEM copies. Don't believe the marketing BS, they've all been tested and the only tried-and-true ones are the OEMs. Order them from Tousely Ford in White Bear Lake. You should have them in a day, or you can drive there if you're close enough.

I'm in South Bend, but I've been all over the state. Tell me they did not seriously fill that entire area with mud? Is that the bottom of the B-pillar?
  17. Let's see, I need to build a bed, kitchen table, two dressers, and the cabinets for HT. I'll be over in 5 hours.

Dude, great work! Do you live in Indiana? I've seen that Camaro before.
  19. NO, it's whatever rating it is. let me rephrase: if a tire has a W or a Y rating, does that automatically means its at least as good as a Z rated tire in terms of performance? Well duh. If you have $150 that means you have at least $100 correct?
  20. If you have an entire bank running rich/ lean, it's an O2 sensor, unless the gasket is deteriorated enough along the entire length. The computer will adjust injector pulse and timing for each individual cylinder on OBDII, so if it's not a gasket, change the O2 and/or check the wiring. I'll check that out then. Thanks! The gasket is not likely as I sprayed the hell out of some starter fluid around it and it didn't change the engine rev at idle, at 1800, or any RPM above. It's crazy how the fuel injector cleaner helped though. It was night and day. I'll know more when I seal the wind shield, get the GEM replaced and can run some more tests. I might just try an 02 sensor for funsies. I have to get new exhaust badly. EGR may be fouled too. Next time you have the truck at the shop, see if your mechanic has a scanner that can datalog or record a movie and check the timing throughout the RPM range and in every gear.

  23. IT's not the actual pressure of the bass that breaks the glass. It's the vibration from the frame that cracks it. You have to remember, automotive glass is extremely resilient within it's frame. Once removed, it's a different story. Same thing happens when the frame is distorted, vibrated, etc. . . Auto manufacturers did not design them for the rigors of extreme SPL.
  24. SO I have a store that closed damn near a year ago, but we have it leased for 10 more years so I still have to maintain the building. There's been a lot of vagrants, vandalism, and dumping on the premises, and I've had some issues trying to get the cops to remove people from the premises. This morning I go in there to get some shit; I see a cop sitting in the parking lot. I drive around the back to check the back of the building and I'm 3/4 of the way around when I see him come flying up behind me and he hits hits lights and siren. So, I'm going into the store anyways, and it's about 200' to the entrance where I park, so I just continue to drive to that point, roll my window down, and shut the truck off. He comes up with his taser drawn and asks me to get out of the vehicle. I do, and he asks me why I didn't stop when I saw him. I told him that I was driving into my parking spot which was a short ways up, and he gets all pissed and goes off on this rant on how I need to stop as soon as I see lights and how I have no business being on the premises. I try to speak, but he interrupts. He takes my license and runs it, comes back and tells me to leave. I again try to tell him I maintain the building, but he stops me before I get two words out and demands I leave. So now I reach into the console, grab the keys to the building and walk up to the door. He gets out of the car, tells me to stop, get back in my truck and leave. Now I'm pissed, so of course I go off on him. He comes up to me as if he wants to grab me, when I put the key in the lock and open the doors. He looks at me dumbfounded. I ask him if I can go disarm the alarm so they don't waste time calling more of his buddies out here, then he asks me why I didn't tell him who I was. When I reply that he didn't give me an opportunity to speak when I was trying to tell him, he again stops me. . . A few seconds of silence pass, and I hear, "have a nice day sir." What a fucking cock!
  25. The noise you hear in the right tweet could be induced by the left shorting out. Weird that is it only happening to the one side. I'd buy some throw-away tweets and use them as test mules to see if they have issues. I'd ever switch channels to see if the right one goes bad.
