I have messed with a buttload of Morel tweets in my day, and I have never found the limits of one. With that being said, I simply don't see the need for this in your application. As the rest have suggested, go with something better fitting like a pro audio driver. You're really just throwing money away.

There is nothing special about these. They are just a normal rectifier mounted outboard. It's common sense to take the parts away from the heat, but this is only needed in a SEVERE application. Not worth the time and hassle for a daily vehicle, nor really much for a competition vehicle either as you are mostly dependent upon the battery bank. The funny part is, they are running it in parallel with the rectifier already on the alt which is doing nothing. If you're really concerned about this problem, you'd invest in an alt that is designed for external rectification and voltage regulation in the first place. This is what you will find in emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks.

I have to disagree here. A better term would be application, but there are several manufacturers who know their drivers very well and know what enclosures work with what application. JL comes to mind, as well as MTX to name a couple.
