Chop, it's all good, but I look at things in a different light. I grew up in the bad part of town myself. While my parents worked day and night to put me in a good school away from the "bad" element, I've seen it all and was involved in enough shit to be put in jail for life, but I got lucky. Now, some may or may not be as well-educated as some of us here. That's beside the point. The fact of the matter is, if you do nothing to help the situation, you're only making it worse. While it may seem petty, giving in to the use of improper grammar, no matter the situation, is only going to hinder progress. Pretty soon, you have a forum that reads like a, well for lack of a better term, idiot board. This is the problem with out society. Everyone wants to make an excuse for people. We don't. I don't know what the whole issue with Steve and Sean was. I know Sean and his smart ass ways. I don't think he was demeaning in any way. Steve made a comment that could have been taken as a threat and that was where the line was crossed. Now, he PMed me and everything was cleared up and he did what he needed to do to get a resolution. He handled himself maturely and like a man. I thought that was great as most NooBs would not hesitate to lash out in a post, but he held himself back and proceeded correctly. I know Sean personally and have met him before. He is a great guy. You may find his type as demeaning and immature, but I can assure you, he is only meaning to better you. Think of him as a drill Sergeant. We all know what "assholes" they can be, but they are in place to make that soldier the best he can be. We're all human, and we all have room for improvement. I hope we can all grow together.

HistoryHD has this awesome series on about WWII. God, we have it so easy it's disgusting. I complain about my simple problems, and then I talk to my nephew who has brittle bone disease. He broke his leg two days ago, 14 hours after getting the pin out of his leg from his last break. He's broken both his legs twice in a span of 6 months, every break within a week of getting his cast off from the last, and this most recent on came just two days after cast removal. Know how he broke it? Rolling over in his bed while asleep. All the little guy wants to do is play baseball and he hasn't been able to get out of a wheel chair for almost a year, but he never complains and always smiles. I can't fathom how. I would be crushed.

You'd be able to freeze it once. What would that accomplish? Once the coil heats up to operating temp, freezing it again would break it from thermal shock. What's your application now? All cars are different, but I had a similar problem in my '85 T-bird. The only way to get any bass without cancellation was to mold the enclosure around the very back of the trunk and fire forward. Simply switching to a vented enclosure is not going to help. BTW, midbass is your friend. Leave the subs alone and focus on that.
