Welcome to the IHoP v.2
The ceramic makes a molecular bond with the paint. It literally takes years to wear. Of course gel coat is a bit softer than paint, but I'd guess you'd get a couple years out of it with most wear coming from the surface abrasion with the water.

Ceramic would work. It's a UV blocker.

Been raining here non-stop for 2 days now. Supposed to snow again tomorrow. I can't take this shit physically any longer. It just drains me. Literally. My sinuses are a MESS!

They're too simple to screw up. Each spring is different, so there's no possible way to put them in the wrong spot, and if you do one wheel at a time, you always have an example on the other side of the vehicle.

I don't know if I would trust that much. It's fairly cheap and you can't embed ceramic in a polish or detail spray. I'd venture it's actually an acrylic sealant. Acrylic is still good; I actually prefer it to ceramic as it does not bond to the paint on a molecular level like ceramic.

dual alts to seperate batteries?
The setup you are describing poses zero problems. Even if one alt is producing more current or voltage, the battery will act like an accumulator.

Speaking of, I shot the new APX last night. I love my Berettas! I was a little concerned since all the striker fired guns I've shot just feel different to me. It may just be all in my head, but none-the-less. We ran about 200 rounds through the thing, and I just love it. It's just as smooth as my PX4, but being a full frame and only 9MM, the recoil is better controlled. Ironically, it weighs less than my PX4 and carries 17 rounds! Might have to buy a new toy.

Lean would be a suspension, i.e. spring issue versus shocks.
