  1. I looked at the Ridgeline Kent. They are too pricey, and if I want a truck, I'm gonna get a Truck. I like the Hondas, but I don't see a uni-body as a truck.
  2. Well, they take up the entire trunk of my Mustang now; even if they weren't in there, I still can't fit a stroller, and in order to get the car seat in the thing, I have to have the front passenger seat all the way forward, and all the way up. It's just not safe, and the Cobra has only two seats and I wouldn't want him in there anyways, and I never drive it, so. . . I've been looking at everything from Explorers, to F150s, to E class MBs, and some older 3 series (which have too small trunks), so I'm open to pretty much anything within the aforementioned budget. I do love this Odyssey though and it's given me a new found respect for Honda.
  3. No, we just bought a new Odyssey, so we have that angle covered. This is just for myself.
  4. Well, I think it's time the Cobra went bye bye. I need some suggestions on what to get. I have to be able to fit my work tools and a stroller in there, and have plenty of room in a back seat for the baby seat without cramping frontseat passengers. I'm thinking along the lines of an extended cab or crew cab pickup, or a large car with a huge trunk. Budget is $10-12K, and no GM or Chrysler junk please. What's everyone else with the kiddies rollin?
  5. My first carry was a Rossi 357 Mag. Couldn't exactly conceal that fucker.
  6. Does your friend work at Sears or Kmart? Those are the exact distributors and cables we have in our stores. I have boxes in the back of all of my stores filled with these things.
  7. I've seen the PPIs before on DIYMA. I love the PG pic! I used to have a set of those earthquakes. First cast-framed driver I can remember owning. Oh, and those Zero-Point mids in the bottom left of the photo are absolutely amazing drivers!
  8. Peace out peeps! It's baby Gavin's bedtime. . . . Or wait, it's feeding time. . . . Or wait, it's diaper time. . .
  9. I don't care how nice of a person you are. That deserves a subtle kick to the knee, then once down remind his jaw, with your foot, that you're not playing hockey.
  10. I could've used that months ago. Cold turkey worked best for me though. everything else I tried didn't work. The worst was trying to trim back gradually.
  11. Not to be an ass, but you realize if your insurance company sees this, they will cancel your coverage. You have in essence, totalled your car, and legally cannot sell it aside from scrap.
  12. My girlfriend always gets me with that shit. She's an RN, and anytime I say EKG, well. . .
  13. x2 but I think it is quite likely at the end of April 2011. DOOMSDAY!!! :drink40: The Mayan calendar ends on 12/21/2012, and there calendar has been spot on so far. I can't even finish school by that date Sorry, let me translate that for the foreigners 21/12/2012.

  15. It's a definite exhaust or mount problem. I'd put money on it. Check all the joints and mounts. Could also be the heat shield, but that's more of an obvious tin-on-tin sound. IIRC, that has a flexible joint on it as well. This could have a hole in it, or a break.
  16. Frankly, for what you guys do, a mere check for a couple hundred bucks is an insult Hell, their paychecks are even more insulting. "Mrs. Smith, I regret to inform you that you son has been killed in combat. Here's a nice pin and a properly folded American flag along with a traditional military burial. Thank you."
  17. I agree! Kent, that's a great find!
  18. $2k? yikes, glad I don't have MacPhersons These were coil-over units though. Had I been running the stock suspension, it would've been about $750. Not too shabby.
  19. Go to know it's not too serious! I wish you the best!
  20. Bilstein> Koni. If you want a good budget choice, try Tokico. I run the Illuminas on my Cobra because I couldn't foot the $2K for the Bilsteins.
  21. Buffalo? How does that taste? I'm assuming it's a dark meat?
  22. Urethane bumpers are easy to repair; cheap too, so if you want to try it, let me know. The wind diffuser is an easy fix as well. I don't think you have much time to repair them though, so check out this place, http://www.floydsrepairables.com My old man said they used to have quite a good supply of German parts.
  23. 70 and sunny here. Not a cloud in the sky.
  24. Here's mommy for reference, she's on the left in the green, but I'm sure you know how quickly they can change. Man, this is so awesome though! All you other fathers out there, congrats to you as well!
  25. Werd!
