the pipes cracking damn...don't want to risk that Never heard of this and don't see why it would happen aside from a shitty header. If it's going to crack from header wrap, it's going to crack under it's normal heat/cool cycle.

I've heard you really don't want to use exhaust wrap. It can cause all kinds of problems with the pipes. Coatings are a far better choice. my friend ran into a problem when he decided to wrap his headders. and at the same time he wrapped the intake tubes, which helped way more then the headder tubes. it dropped his boost temp drop by 3 degrees i think. or maybe it was 4 but still it added a whopping 1 hp lol. well like 9/10th's of a hp according to the dyno. Your friend is full of shit. Wrapping his intake is going to do nothing more than INCREASE his intake temps by the mere fact that it is holding more heat in versus dissipating.

I used the ceramic stuff on the Cobra. Get it as thin as possible. I tried the 2" stuff and it was impossible to work with. The thinner stuff will work a HELL of a lot better and conform to tighter bends with ease.

I should NOT have watched that. I can say, I have successfully completed them all, and more.
