I wouldn't go that far. 5 band parametric EQ throws that down the drain, and it's not like Clarion has any processor to add on either. It is probably the most versatile HU available though. IF that 5 bands is all you need, then you get several components all in a single DIN chassis.

I had a JVC DVD player with the gigaMP3. It was the first one that came out with that, and that was why I bought it. It was great, but sometimes was picky on DVD MP3s and would or would not play certain songs. Funny thing is, it was completely random. This may not be a problem anymore though.

You've got that all wrong. Wash with dishsoap first to strip all the old wax, then clay bar, then POLISH. The polish is the key here. It includes oils which will bring out the color in the pain and keep it fresh. Then and only then should you apply a wax, sealer or glaze. They are for nothing more than protecting the polish which gives the paint it's beautiful lustre.

Nothing will come of this other than grieving. The fact of the matter is, people in America just love to complain and overanalyze everything. We bitch and complain and that is the extent of it. You want to tighten it up, raise your tuning. If it's boomy, the enclosure is either too large, or tuning too low, or a combination of both, OR your vehicle's response curve is giving you a peak in the lowend. Of course, this is not always the case and is no guarantee. Every application will react differently, and there is no exact way to guarantee response. The only way you will lose volume switching to the sealed 15 will be due to a more flat response versus the peak you are getting at whatever frequency range with the vented setup.

So, last night I got all the drywall dust cleaned up and proceeded to go outside and clean my new vacuum. Upon stepping out onto the porch, my akle decides it wants to spin my foot around 180 degrees and make a nice sound like a board breaking. So, I call my girl, who is an RN, and she's not answering the phone. All I want is a ride home so I can cut my freaking hair. SO, I proceed to call my sister, who is also a nurse, and she comes over. Just as she gets there, my girl finally gets home. Here I am SURE my ankle is broken, and BTW, my insurance was supposed to kick in last week, and I was just informed 2 days ago that it doesn't kick in for another 4 months. So here I am with a jacked up ankle, no insurance and two pissed off nurses who really don't want to be here. They both think it's a sprain, I can move all my toes, and my ankle slightly, but damn does it hurt. They tried to get me to go to the hospital, but no fucking way without insurance. Kiss my ass. Wake up today to go to work and I can't move my leg at all. Can't stand, walk, hell it hurts like a bitch to crawl like a baby. Go to MedPoint, pay $160, wait 2 hours, get X-rays, negative on the break, but may be a hairline fracture, and the doc tells me he can cast it for another $200 or I can wrap it up and get some crutches. Yeah. I'm going to Wal-Mart for some ACE bandage. Worst part is, I can't even drive.

Why makes you thin you'll lose output over a vented 12? Easy way out, add another half-cube to your current enclosure, drop in the 15 and see how it sounds. If you're not satisifed, then you may have to build another enclosure, but I doubt you'll be dissatisfied, unless you're a basshead.
