  1. WTF?
  2. Thanks for the link. I wonder if they'd work ... The original PR's were 18" and the guys that are utilizing that setup are running two of them. I spoke with Josh when I bought mine and he said even the pair of 18s were borderline in the displacement. That thing must wang more than he said it could.
  3. Warm up already dammit.
  4. Do you know the differences in cable and connectors? When I did some panel work for NASA, they had a low impedance cable and used BNC connectors only. There must be some reasoning. I don't know or understand the difference in impedance and connections, or the cable designations. I'd like to know.

Okay, well, with my new house I want to rip out all the existing old coax and install new throughout. Question is, what is the best cable to go with for quality? I will be updating to HD in a year or two, so I want the best I can get.
  6. No, no it doesn't. . . Only Sean would listen to the blind sweater tester.
  7. When I was a teen, yes. Nowadays, nope.
  8. I haven't watched much Big 10 ball this year, but OSU's Oden looks like a clumsy bastard. I don't see what all the hype is about other than his sheer size. He needs some more developement time.
  9. I don't like bananas. I love their flavor, but the bananas themselves. The texture doesn't work for me.
  10. I thought you needed something with some space???
  11. As long as it's mixed correctly, it will just cause a longer cure time. You can always mix it "hot" by adding a little more hardener, but then you run the risk of waste and less work time. Also, keep in mind, it may not adhere properly to a cold material. That's what you really have to worry about.
  12. I'm sure you won't have a problem.
  13. It'll be listed in the classifieds tomorrow.
  14. Hmm, gotta post my goods up. Anyone need a great DIGITAL setup?
  15. The ONLY good parts on any Chrysler are those which are not Chrysler.
  16. Anodizing, and only anodizing will not alter the convection.
  17. The BGs were awesome drivers in there day. They can still hang now if you ask me. I know MTX was still rebuilding them a couple years ago, so it may be worth checking into if you still like them. They were MTX's premium driver when they came out.
  18. One battery can drain another even while the car is running. Just be aware that there are risks and there is no way to say you will be 100% safe.
  19. BIG fins where the flat spots are now!!! I love big sinks with big fins! Big fins are nice but I don't want to ruin the simple and classy look. The current heatsink does a pretty good job thanks to the thick area where the transistors bolt down... this creates a good bit of thermal mass. I think it could use a bit more surface area for extremely low impedance operation, but I don't want to go crazy with it and make it look like it's not a Sundown amp It won't ruin the look at all. I can recount many classy looking amps with fins, and a pair are sitting in front of me right now. They are YOUR amps though. Just thought I'd offer up an opinion.
  20. BIG fins where the flat spots are now!!! I love big sinks with big fins!
  21. Big Pete is BIG PIMPIN!
  22. These have been around for a few years now.
  23. For running a couple minutes, you can use any 12volt battery that will supply your amp/hour needs. I'd go with Sean on the deep cycle if this is something for continuing usage that may get near a full drain and need multiple recharges and discharges.
