  1. I won't delve further into the rotors, but have you changed the plug wires? Plug wires will begin degrading in as little as 5000 miles and can become totally useless after 10K easily, especially with fouling plugs and/or bad cap/rotor. It could even be as simple as a loose plug wire. Being as how the distributor was recently replaced, see if they put a new ignition module on as well, and did it properly. Also, did they set the timing properly? There are so many things here it could be, JUST from reading about it. Fuel pump, fuel pressure, air in fuel line, timing chain, worn cam lobe, converter, etc. . .
  2. Fuck work.
  3. I want one!!! YOu sell direct or through a dealer network?
  4. When they are available, they will be listed on the site(s).
  5. If a rotor is gouged, it will NOT be able to be turned out. There will not be enough meat to SAFELY turn the rotor and remove the gouge. The idea is to take the minimum amount of material off for a level surface and anything more than 1/16th of an inch will more than likely go beyond the point of a safe thickness. If you search, you can find new rotors for damn near the price of having them turned and you are better off with a new rotor anyways. WE would never turn a rotor unless it was the last option, and gouged rotors were automatically scrapped.
  6. Oh yeah, no tower. All speakers, sans subbass, will be in a horizontal line array along either side of the boat. At least that is my initial plan.
  7. I don't know what size it is. It's a Chris Craft ski boat. It has a 100 amp Leece Neville on it, and I know all about the electrical side, so that is not to worry about.
  8. Goodnight all. Dennis.
  9. Well shit, there's got to be plenty of people out ther looking for those. At least you'd think. Hell for the extra $100 it might be a worthwhile investment anyways. Steel crank? That a DOHC engine?
  10. Are they a standard rod or specific to the Neon?
  11. Okay, my buddy wants to put some stuff in his boat and I really have no idea here. I'm looking for some help. MY best guess would be to treat it like a convertible automobile which means high efficiency and loads of power. Now, this has to be rather budget friendly. He has a Sony HU, all I need is some subbass and some CHEAP drivers to handle the rest of it. I will probably go with a line array of some sort running horizontally throughout the boat. Now, amplifiers is my biggest concern. Being a wet environment, I am wary about this. I know there are marine specific components, but browsing through some, they appear to be nothing more than a traditional component painted white. Is there any real difference here? Any special coatings to prevent corrosion? This just has to get loud, and have some positive bass reinforcement when tooling around the lake. Nothing more.
  12. That's a great deal!
  13. YOu naughty boy. You've been a pleasure to deal with every time. Couldn't ask for better transactions.
  14. Try Diamond racing. They are quick and very good on pricing.
  15. Is it being edited?
  16. Actually, they Alpine did quite well with the upper end, as well as the Eclipse unit. They were lacking in the lower octaves though. The Pioneer PRS was the exact opposite. I'm keen on the switching amps, but they haven't yet perfect them for TRUE fullrange use.
  17. It's not all Fords. Generally the slower ratio steering vehicles have this problem, especially the FWD vehicles, but it can get annoying. I want to bitch slap the pump in my Taurus every day. Personally, I'd bargain with them a little. I know it makes it hard being as how they are helping to dig you out of a hole, but being a dealership, the very least they should do is routine maintenance to used vehicles. The pads should be replaced, tires, and balljoints. Technically, they are selling a vehicle unfit for the road IMO. I don't know exactly how the law works on that, but if you were to get in an accident caused by these parts failing, they could be held liable. Take that into consideration.
  18. SS5.25 is the model number. I've seen them for around $30.
  19. No, I meant replace it with a Crystal sub.
  20. HA! The bugs add DEEBEEZ! Crystal sub FTW?
  21. Kent, awesome news on the raise! Ramos on the page skip!
  22. Well, I couldn't bring myself to wipe backwards. Just bad hygiene. On another note, we are going to a swinger party on the 26th. The woman's never had sex in front of people and she wants to do this. SO I agreed. Then she asks me if I'll let some other chick give me head while she watches. So I agree. She just better not even think about messing with some other dude. We have a little agreement where she can do other chicks as long as I get to join and/or try them out myself, but I draw the line at extra dicks.
  23. I'm about to get my duck sicked. But I have to shit. ANd she loves to lick the balls So I think I'll wipe backwards. Think she'll like the taste? Tune in tomorrow for the exciting news!
