Welcome to the IHoP
Sean, run 1/0 to a distro, then 4 guage. Use as little 4 guage as you can. It alone will harbly be enough to get the full potential out of the big Belle.

Why high end audio??
The digital age has been both a blessing and a disgrace. Compression is killing the music, but the recording industry has been putting out shit recordings for years. If you go cheap, that's exactly what you get, but on the other end of the spectrum, I see NO reason why some pieces are priced the way there are. So they use an exotic metal that drives the price up thousands of dollars. Does it have a distinct advantage over a component costing 1/3? Most of the time no. There will ALWAYS be people who have the money to blow on something just because they can (brag), and that will help to keep the fire lit on the high-end gear.

RL-p or Brahma??
Personally, I don't see how anyone can compare them. The Brahma is all new and entirely different from the previous versions. I also know that the dealer will in fact NOT be able to get recones from Adire. Going by what they've produced in the past, you know it will be a performer. Customer service MAY be an issue, but it also may not. You never hear about the thousands of SATISFIED customers, just the few that want to relay a bad experience. Going with SS, the driver is proven, Mike has proven himself, and the value is hard to beat. I would do like Elias has stated. Either way, you can always sell something and get a different driver if you'd like.

Who's liable? Sub broke Amp!
Fuse won't blow until they reach 200% of their rating and it will take a certain amount of time depending upon the fuse. You'll never see that current on 850 watts. BEsides, it's not the current to worry about, but the proper voltage. If you dip too low, or go to high, you run the risk of frying stuff. Just the nature of electronics. Think of a voltage spike as a lightning strike. There's a huge influx of voltage and boom, shit's all blown up. The voltage drop is similar, but it is not getting enough juice. Either way, it was no fault of the driver. The only way that would have blown the amp would there to have been a short in the driver. Keep in mind, that over time, parts can become suspect, especially in the harsh environment of the vehicle, and things can and do just stop working correctly.

Check my alt thread for what to look for. Dbelectric is actually a pretty good place. I have done business there on a business level before. HO is great, but you may not like the prices. They arew worth the money though. And for Knu, I cannot comment as I don't know who their supplier is or what parts they use. ONe thing that concerns me, is the fact that the ebay link shows a CS130, and the Knu shows a 130D. They are essentially similar, but the regulators may be different and this could affect your computer.

My 12" Eclipse Titanium isn't hitting hard at all.
My Taurus is just this same way, and ratlle free. It is so nice. Even with my windows down, it's very faint. I don't understand why people want others to hear their music. You don't win anything for it, and as has been previously noted, it's not nice for the lawmen. It also makes it harder for the enthusiasts who listen responsibly to continue about their hobby undisturbed.
