Be careful when purchasing "cheap" alts. Most of the so-called high output alternator companies do nothing more than slap a higher amperage stator in the unit with standard rectifiers and regulators. This does nothing more than provide for higher output while driving and most of the time, the cut in RPM is very high on them. This will lead to undercharging and excessive heat and wear. Do some research on how alternators work, and ask the company what they do to make the unit and what components they use.

Hey, that looks familiar. Elias, the piece that is drilled is nothing more than a magnet cover. As for the coils, there are small jumpers provided by JBL that go from one contact to the other and are not visible. Thew only way you know they are there is if you installed them. They'd be lucky to bring $30K from that thing.

I love black cars. I miss my black stang so much. I'd easily give my Cobra up to have it back and it was just a GT. Nothing looks better than a sleek black car with chrome wheels. YOu just can't beat it. I highly doubt you'll have to worry about the heat and glass. There are plenty of cars that have that combo, Fieros included.
